Hard facts in a software package
PaveComp will be your best friend in management of
asphalt jobs. It presents recommendations on screeds,
tractor units and rollers in order to to optimize the result
of your specific job.
A range of asphalt mixes are included in the program,
and compaction needs related to layer thickness are
considered. PaveComp automatically calculates rolling
speed, frequency, amplitude and number of passes to
reach the required density.
CompBase is a database containing compaction data
for Dynapac rollers and light equipment on seven different types of soil. Selecting soil type and machine will
give the required number of passes and time consumption for the desired degree of compaction.
planer equipment
Prepare for better results
Preparation sets the quality of the end result. Dynapac’s cold
planers combine precision and manoeuvrability with high
capacity and efficient functionality. Reduced noise, large power
reserves and a strong focus on the operator’s environment
and comfort have been the design cornerstones.
Compact Planer, PL350T
Compact Planers, PL500T/PL500TD
The three-wheel compact planer is ideal for
partial repairs of asphalt and concrete pavements, as well as removing of surfaces in buildings. Excellent manoeuvrability allows precision
cutting around manhole covers; the right fold-in
supporting wheel is for cost-effective cutting
alongside curbs or walls. The ballast weights are
removable which adds flexibility when using the
PL350T inside buildings.
The PL500 models are highly manoeuvrable,
hydraulically powered compact planers. A quick
release rear conveyor and a three- or four-wheel
drive unit with traction control are significant
features. The PL500 efficiently removes asphalt
pavements up to a cutting depth of 160 or 200
mm at 500 mm cutting width. By the superior
manoeuvrability, both models offer capacity
combined with precision, even for cutting around
manhole covers.

paver equipment
Pave the way for profitability
Dynapac has a long-earned reputation of outstanding reliability, uptime and end
result quality. We strongly believe that our real-life based engineering philosophy is
one of the main reasons. Powerful engines, advanced traction design and precision
steering are obvious highlights, and the finished surface is a powerful statement.
Wheeled pavers
Tracked pavers
Mobile feeders
Dynapac’s wheeled pavers are truly versatile. Proven
reliability from many years of operation in various applications makes it the ideal choice for urban roads. The
optional frontwheel drive with standard anti-spin system
can be engaged and disengaged by the driver and allows
the different amount of traction force required by the paver
(depending on the construction site) to be adapted to the
conditions of use.
Our tracked pavers are designed for no-compromise
operation. Long track drives enable maximum traction and
the crawler speed is electronically, and non-incrementally,
adjusted to any type of working condition. The tracks compensate for uneven ground level, and furthermore they are
sealed and lifetime-lubricated for minimum maintenance.
With a non-contacting element between transport vehicles and pavers, seamless and efficient finishing of any
surface becomes simple and trouble-free. The asphalt
mix is forwarded by a heat resistant rubber … via an automatically controlled and height adjusted conveyor belt
at the front of the feeder.

screeds
Go wide and smooth
Dynapac offers a range of screeds in widths up to 16 meters.
Stability is the hallmark of our screeds and the unique engineering concept offers the
benefit of efficiency in combination with an outstanding surface finish. A wide range of
screed types and widths makes it easy to find the perfect choice for any type of job.
Vario Screeds
Up to 9.70 meters of paving width can be handled efficiently by Dynapac’s telescopic screeds. A high degree
of stability is maintained by an advanced control system
for the hydraulics of the extendable sub-assemblies.
High compaction screeds
The High Compaction Screeds are designed to meet
the demands for operation in either high compaction or
standard mode of operation.
Final compaction is performed by an additional vibratory
compaction unit. This ensures an optimum degree of final
compaction at every paving condition.
Fixed screeds
For the really wide paving jobs the fixed screed is a
natural choice. Using a high-capacity tractor unit, the
fixed screed can be used to achieve working widths of
up to 16 meters. Stability and rigidity is, of course, crucial here and Dynapac is the safe and efficient choice.
Compactasphalt® –
a new quality level in paving
Increased lifetime expectancy, lower maintenance cost and significant road noise reduction. These are the main
benefits of our latest innovation, Compactasphalt ®.
Two layers laid simultaneously – hot on hot – give better interlocking and higher resistance to deformation.
At the same time you can save up to 50% on the top layer.
◄ The main advantages
• Noise reduction by 6 dB(A)
(when laying open structure asphalt)
The paving concept
The combination of increased lifetime and enormous
savings on top layer material makes Compactasphalt® a
real winner. The required machine is a high-performance
paver completed with two additional modules. The wearing course mix (orange) is conveyed by a mobile feeder
• Lower amount of mix in top layer (50% less)
into a second hopper on the paver. The basic paver
module can also be used for any other regular paving
job. For this purpose the additional modules have to be
removed. This can easily be done without using a crane.
• Increased life expectancy
• Better interlocking of the courses
• Higher deformation resistance
• Lower maintenance costs

No more guesswork –
Dynapac Compaction Analyzer gives the hard facts
Even compaction over the entire area and documentation of the compaction work are fundamentals of groundwork and road
construction. With our tools for analysis you can monitor and document the parameters that set the standard.
Compaction Analyzer - Asphalt
Compaction Analyzer - Soil
Careful planning of the compaction
passes increases quality and saves
fuel. Dynapac DCA-A helps the operator ensure an even number of passes
over the entire area, and calculates
the optimized pattern with respect to
asphalt temperature. The data from the
on-board computer can be transferred
for further analysis and printing. For a
contractor it is a clear benefit to submit
clear and concise documentation of a
well-performed completed job.
Soil compaction can be complicated.
Depending on what’s underneath the base
or sub-base layer, the compaction result
can differ. The heart of the DCA-S is the
compaction meter, which provides the
Compaction Meter Value, representing the
stiffness of the soil. The DCA-S with the
optional DGPS-receiver provides accurate
positioning to the compaction measurement and the information is presented to
the operator in real time. At the same time
DCA-S stores the information as documentation of the compaction process.

Getting the job done on time and on budget
Superior Compaction Performance
Soil compaction performance depends on many parameters. Static linear
load, vibration characteristics and drum dimensions are just a few of them.
But performance goes beyond the roller itself. Dynapac’s unique experience
is available to all our customers through the software tools we offer. And by
the range of programs at Dynapac Campus Training academy.
Dynapac´s proven safety
Safety is another top priority in all Dynapac products. Low center of gravity
and a thorough chassis design give rock-solid stability. The fail-safe brakes
and a safety switch in the operator seat reduce the risk of incidents while
working. And to protect the operator you can equip all models with roll-over
protection (ROPS) and protection against falling objects (FOPS).
Outstanding operator comfort
All Dynapac models offer excellent working conditions and comfort for the
operator. Powerful air conditioning and logical controls, with just the right feel
and feedback, completes the perfection of the operator’s environment.
A unique feature is the spin-around seat and steering module. With a full
180° movement any operation can be performed with full control and with a
minimum of physical effort.

Compaction is the simplest and cheapest way to
increase the stability and load-bearing capacity of
a soil structure. Dynapac’s single drum soil compactors are available in a range of sizes – up to an
operating mass of 27 tons – for all types of soil
compaction. High degree of visibility and the option
of analysis and optimizing tools make these machines ideal for the quality-conscious contractor.
Dynapac’s range of vibratory rollers are used to compact all types of soil with the exception of rockfill. The
rollers are suitable for most types of road construction, airfields, dam construction, harbour projects and
industrial constructions.
Heavy-size vibratory rollers are used for a very wide
range of applications. A special version with a padfoot
drum is available for compacting cohesive soils.

light equipment
Light-weight equipment
for heavy-duty purposes
Dynapac light-weight equipment ensures perfect end results in every application. Manoeuvrability, ergonomics and versatility are the hallmarks of our
smaller machines. When it comes to engineering quality and cost-efficiency
they share the same solid foundation of Dynapac research and experience
as our other product lines.
Rammers
Dynapac’s range of rammers is designed for compacting
cohesive soils, such as clay and silt but also sand and
gravel. They are ideal for small repair jobs and in narrow
confined areas, such as trenches or housing sites.
Forward Plates
Dynapac offers a full range of forward plates, specially
designed for compacting asphalt and granular soils.
They are ideal and economically perfect for small repair
and maintenance work, such as driveways and pathways, parking lots and backfilling in trenches.
Forward & Reverse Plates
Dynapac’s forward and reverse plates
constitute an economical alternative and
compliment to a roller. Being all-round
machines, they are specially designed
to compact soil in confined areas.

Duplex Rollers
Trench Rollers
Duplex rollers are suitable for compacting thin layers
of granular soils and asphalt. They are mostly used
for small jobs, repair work and compaction in confined
areas. High vibration frequency and a powerful diesel
engine give impressive performance with regard to the
machine size.
The Dynapac LP8500 roller is the perfect choice for
compacting cohesive and granular soils in connection
with backfills, foundation work and similar projects.
With no overhang, the LP8500 is also well suited for
compaction work close to walls and other obstacles.

Dynapac offers a wide range of poker vibrators: mechanical
(pendulum), high-frequency, pneumatic, electric built-in
frequency converter.
Vacuum treatment
Cutting and grinding
Dynapac covers most common concrete and asphalt
cutting applications with floor saw and powerful grinding
machines. The floor saw comes in a petrol or diesel version completed by a series of diamond disks.
Prior to trowelling, the concrete can be treated with the Dynapac
vacuum pump and suction mats vacuum treatment; a highly
efficient vacuum dewatering system which reduces the water
contents 20-25% and increases both compression and wear
resistance. The risk of concrete shrinkage is also lessened.
External vibrators
Vibrating beams
Submersible drainage pumps
Vibrating beams and modular screeds have an in-depth compaction effect on concrete slabs. Beams are double-profile electrically or petrol powered. Finishing beams for levelling without
rails or support are also available.
Trowels
From edgers to double ride-on trowels, including single trowels
in petrol or electrically powered versions. Dynapac offers an extensive range of trowels to fulfil all trowelling and finishing jobs.
Vibrators are available in electric versions for high,
medium or low frequency, completed by a series of pneumatic vibrators to cope with all pre-cast construction site
requirements.
The Weda line of dewatering submersible pumps
handles easily all the water you normally see on a
construction site. The wear resistance, light weight and
service friendliness are well-known design features.

Optimize instead of maximize
We all know that the whole idea
with compaction is to reach the
correct set of parameters for the
work in question.
There is no point in overdoing
anything – it only costs time and
fuel, without improving the final
result.
The Dynapac Compaction Optimizer,
DCO, is an innovative system based on
the well-proven compaction meter. The
stiffness of the ground constitutes the
input value for the setting of amplitude
of the vibratory drum. The operator
has full control and every aspect of the
project benefits from this.
