Standard 4.7mm pin size fits normal UK controllers
Plasson fittings will weld to PE80, PE100 and PEX-A pipes
Fittings available to weld to thin walled pipes up to SDR33
Long fusion zones provide high strength joints
Large cold zones ensure quality welds
Suitable for use with Plasson SmartFuse, Fusamatic &
non-Fusamactic controllers
Barcode & Plasson SmartFuse automation reduces potential
for errors in set up
Profiled fitting body to spread stresses & extend long
service life
Large range available including unique products to simplify
the task
Single weld time for ambient temperature range from -10 to
+45 degrees centigrade, no time adjustment required
PE coated welding wire ensures consistency of material in
the joint to strengthen the weld
Welding wire is precision laid in the fitting to provide even
heat distribution
Larger fittings have protected pins to minimise the
possibility of damage during handling
Saddle fittings have an under part - no top loading tool is
required to fit them
Tees & elbows to 250mm are available reducing time &
costs of installation
Materials are all WRAS approved
BSEN 12201 & BSEN 1555 approved

Suitable Pipes - PE80, PE100, PEX A
Plasson’s ElectroFusion Fittings:
• Up to 75mm (inclusive) are weldable to
pipes SDR7 to SDR11
• 90mm & up are weldable to pipes
SDR7 to SDR17
Lightfit
• 90mm are weldable to pipes SDR11 to SDR26
110mm - 710mm are weldable to pipes SDR11 to SDR33
Welding Temperature range -10° - +45°
Material
All Plasson ElectroFusion fittings are
produced from PE100 material which
conforms to international standards for potable
water & natural or suitable manufactured gas
systems. This material has been tested &
approved to BS6920.
Standards
Plasson ElectroFusion fittings are designed,
tested & quality controlled according to
Plasson’s internal standards. These standards
are based on the following international
standards:

Quality
Plasson has incorporated a quality assurance
system in accordance with ISO9001:2008 for
the manufacture & distribution of ElectroFusion
fittings.
Fusion welding & cooling times are specified on the individual products. Fusion
welding times can also be recognized by appropriately equipped control boxes
through the red pin connector or barcode.
Pin size: 4.7mm
Voltage: 40 volt
Control box current capacity: <400mm 60 amp / >400mm 80 amp
Generator must be equipped with an Automatic Voltage Regulator.
