ABOUT US
Gazelle Sports was founded in downtown Kalamazoo in 1985. Today,
there are locations in Holland, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Northville, and
soon Birmingham, where Gazelle Sports strives for retail excellence by
providing the world’s best customer care. Gazelle Sports offers footwear
and apparel for active and casual use, provides free runs and walks,
weekly clinics, training programs, and organizes and/or supports over
200 community events throughout the year.

At Gazelle Sports we actively pursue, encourage and celebrate a healthy
lifestyle. We strive for retail excellence by providing the world’s best
customer care, focusing on a never ending commitment to unmatched
product knowledge and creating friendly, positive relationships with
customers, vendors and our communities.

Gazelle Sports is a Certified Benefit Corporation. And we’re pretty dang proud of that! Our goal
from the very beginning was to give back to our community. Now, we have a way to measure our
efforts and let everyone know we are committed to using our business as a force for good.
Certified Benefit Corporation is a designation awarded by B Lab, a non-profit group that promotes
sustainable business practices. Each company must meet rigorous standards of social and
environmental performance, accountability and transparency before it can be awarded with Benefit

GAZELLE SPORTS FOUNDATION
Gazelle Sports has always encouraged healthy
living in our communities, but we wanted to
make an even bigger impact. So, the Gazelle
Sports Foundation, a 501(c)(3), was founded
in 2014. It is dedicated to assisting Michigan
in becoming one of the nation’s healthiest
states through grants to organizations that help
reduce barriers to active living.
Each year, two percent of Gazelle Sports’ profits
are donated to the Gazelle Sport Foundation.
And, Gazelle Sports owned events support the
foundation by donating $1 per participant.
We believe in empowering others to move.

It all started 30 years ago in downtown Kalamazoo. Since then, we’ve expanded to three other retail locations with a fourth
set to open this fall. We pride ourselve on the service we provide at our retail stores, from in-depth gait analysis to bra fittings
and technical help, our expert staff gets customers in the right gear, guaranteed.

THE NEW ADDITIONS
In 2015, we expanded to the east side of the state, opening our first store
in the Northville area. It’s both exciting and daunting to expand into a new
market, but we’re up to the challenge! This Fall, we will be opening our
second east side store in downtown Birmingham.
