Gadget...
This phrase is Inspector Gadget’s favorite thing to
say. Inspector Gadget is a clumsy hero, but he’s still a hero.
Inspector Gadget is a robot detective who is a human with
lots of gadgets, or tools, built into his body. Whenever
Inspector Gadget says, “Go, go gadget phone.” his hand turns
into a cell phone. “Go, go gadget coat” and Gadget’s coat inflates
like a balloon. Even though Gadget’s tools don’t always function
properly they are still very useful. Gadget always seems to save
the day with the help of his niece, Penny, and a very intelligent
dog named Brain.
Inspector Gadget has many gadgets, but one of his most
important gadgets is his Gadget-phone. The Gadget-phone is the
gadget that gives Inspector Gadget his direction. The phone allows
Gadget to hear from Chief Quimby. Chief Quimby then gives Gadget
directions about the mission that Gadget is to complete. The Gadgetphone could also be used to call for help if Gadget were to get into
serious trouble. The Inspector could also use it to call in a pizza order.
The Gadget-phone has many uses. As do the other gadgets that the
Inspector uses in his job.

Scripture. It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is
useful for correcting our mistakes. It is useful for making
our lives whole again. It is useful for training us to do
what is right. By using Scripture, a man of God can be
completely prepared to do every good thing.”
God speaks to us through His Word and tells us about His standards. Just like
Gadget’s phone, the Bible gives us direction about our mission as God’s heroes. The Bible is
a tool that helps us correct our mistakes. When we learn about God’s standards from the
Bible, we start to realize the way that He wants us to live. When we
don’t live in His ways the Bible lets us know that we need to make
changes in our lives. The Bible trains us to do what’s right by letting
us know what is true and honorable.
Often times Inspector Gadget gets lucky because his gadgets
just happen to do what he needs them to do. The Bible
completely prepares us to do every good thing. As heroes,
we need to be ready for anything that happens in our life. Our
tool, the Bible, does exactly that, it prepares us. The Bible isn’t just great
for one situation in life, but it can be used in so many different ways, just
like Gadget’s gadgets. As heroes, we need this tool. Go, go Gadget Bible!
