Model History
The Porsche 356 B was produced from autumn 1959 to 1963 as a Coupé, Cabriolet/Hardtop
and Roadster. It was extensively revised in this model variant, which made the car appear
more modern and elegant. The headlights and bumpers have been set higher by about 100
mm, making the whole car seem friendlier. As a novelty the B-series has a strong three-spoke
steering wheel, which also received a recessed hub. The liftable windows improved the fresh
air supply and the rear window was maintained free from fog by a heating nozzle.

The 356 B Super 90 Cabriolet was delivered to Mahag/Munich in February 1963 and still got
its factory engine (matching numbers).
Via the U.S. , the car found its way back to Germany and was imported in the 90s by the
previous owner. Here in Germany, the preowner subjected the Convertible to an overhaul.
Along with a new green paint, the car received a new interior and convertible top. The quality
of that restoration more than 20 years earlier, speaks for the care and diligence of the former
owner.
The car is German street legal.
The 356 B Super 90 convinces with good overall performance. A dream convertible of the 60s.
