STOLL-DEVORÉ KNIT®
BRINGING DECORATIVE AND FUNCTIONAL
KNITWEAR TOGETHER
THE LACY
INNOVATION
FROM STOLL
THE ART OF KNITTING
FEELS TOUCHED WITH
LIGHTNESS
Stoll launches knitted lace and gives
the filigree technique a renaissance.
The modern, electronic flat-knitting
machine once again offers you the
ability of knitting transparent and
opaque areas on one machine
series.
Magically create transparency in
your designs or combine fluffy
yarns with delicate lace effects. A
stylish finesse that reduces the
fabric weight, translating into
savings on material and costs. Knit
the finest Devore looks – even using
all-natural fibers.
The pattern formations of the CMS
provide you with an amazing variety
of combinations. The filigree cams
let you benefit from all Stoll pattern
formation applications on a threesystem machine. Use the three
cams to combine the filigree
technique with two-ply knitting.
Knit one-ply filigree and back
individual areas very delicately with
a second layer (semi-transparent)
or completely opaque.
It goes without saying that 1x1
knitting is at your disposal as well.
You can also combine it with plush
fabrics, since the filigree cams
provide this appealing knitting
technique that previously required
reconfiguring the machine. Lend
your patterns the ultimate effect –
decorate your filigree knitwear with
intarsia themes. Adorn the filigree
areas
with
delicate
intarsia
structures and thereby highlight
your stylish elegance.
The filigree technique uses a full-face knitted fabric made
from a very thin, almost invisible thread. Selected stitches
are formed together with the base thread in visible
patterned yarns as dictated by the design. The two
different knits, stitch and float, are on top of each other in
one row, formed by two consecutive special systems,
resulting in opaque and transparent areas.

The innovation potential of the Stoll filigree technique
gives freedom to your imagination, and increases your
range of creativity. Our knitting technique, unique to flat
knitting, provides you with a wide variety. Semi-transparent
placed motifs, overall stylish outerwear patterns, as well
as functional active wear or that burnout look, can all be
achieved.
The filigree technique provides the combination of
precision stitches required by the pattern. Reducing fabric
weight makes possible the most delicate pattern
variations. The results will distinguish your collection, with
innovative lightweight fabrics, in looks ranging from airy
lace to coarse knit.
