We asked you to ponder a year without the Loyalty Fund. A compelling image of a sad face, colorless classroom and boring program left a lasting impression in your mind. You did not want a year without the Loyalty Fund and demonstrated this by making our dynamic, signature single gender institution a philanthropic priority. Thanks to you, Ashley Hall not only surpassed last year’s record but becomes the first independent school in the Lowcountry to reach a $1 MILLION ANNUAL FUND! Possunt quae volunt, or more commonly abbreviated and chanted on campus as P-Q-V, translates to “girls with the will have the ability.” Your generosity allows the opportunity for our students to live this as an Ashley Hall way of life. Ashley Hall be part of an ever integrated world, and therefore purchased a magnificent house at 179 Rutledge must prepare its students to act effectively as world Avenue (adjacent to the campus) to serve as the home citizens. With this in mind, Ashley Hall initiated of this program and in 2013 began a $4,500,000 a comprehensive Global Studies Program to build campaign to purchase the building, renovate curricula supportive of imbuing in our students the facility, support curricular and professional and community a more “worldly” perspective and development initiatives within the Global Studies establishing an international boarding program Program, and create a restricted fund for the long- to bring students from around the world to attend term care and maintenance of the property. To date, Ashley Hall, making daily engagement with young the generous Ashley Hall community has committed women of diverse perspectives, cultures, customs, almost $3.5 million to this critical initiative.
