INTA’s Overview Space Technology serving Society INTA’s Overview The National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA) is the Spanish Public Research Institution specialized in aerospace research and technological development. Budget: >130 M€ Almost 60% of its budget is devoted to the acquirement and upkeep of scientific and technological equipment. Staff: >1300 • 50% are dedicated to R+D activities. • >40% of the Institute’s personnel has a university degree. Activities • > 100 research projects (of which one third are renewed annually). • 65% of the budget is dedicated to technological development activities. • 27% to applied research. • 8% to basic research activities. HQ & main locations The Technological Centre for Vehicle Testing and Certification for Road Safety – CESTT- is a technical service whose field of action comes between vehicle manufacture and preparation for its subsequent commercialization.
