Nancy’s Rooms
Very basic and comfortable accommodation with simple furnishings. All
rooms have 2 beds, a private shower, fridge, a balcony and fan but no TV,
no AC and no kitchen facilities. Rooms are cleaned daily but bed linen is
changed on arrival and towels are changed twice during the week (extra
towels available at a charge). Nancy Rooms are located in the centre of
Gouvia, very close to the clubs, numerous bars, supermarkets, restaurants
and the beach. Gouvia is situated on the east coast of Corfu within good
proximity of Corfu town. Buses run daily from 7:30am till 23:30pm circa

Transfer to Corfu port where we will sail with a
glass bottom boat. Experienced divers will swim
around fish, feed them and show us some of the
strangest forms of sealife. Sea lions with their
trainers perform a unique show. Then we will walk
to town where we will have free time for leisure,
shopping and time to explore Corfu’s cosmopolitan
capital included a guided tour, with the Palace
built by the Maltese stone, Saint Spiridon Church
and Town Hall. On our return transfer will stop at
Jumbo multi-store for incredible bargains.
Full day guided tour visiting the traditional village of
Spartylas where we will have a short coffee break.
Then we will continue to the highest mountain
in Corfu, Pantokrator standing at 906m, with its
famous monastery and spectacular views of the
all the island. Then we will proceed down to Ipsos
which is one of the most popular sea side resorts
where we have free time for shopping in the local
tourist shops, free time for swimming or water
sports. After we will have a typical Greek lunch in
a sea front family taverna which will offer us the
opportunity to learn and join in the preparations of
all dishes.
Transfer to Corfu port where we will have the chance
to visit the tax free shop before our departure by
boat to Saranda Port in Albania (approx. 70mins).
Very important to have a valid passport for this
excursion. A €10 per person immigration fee to be
paid on the spot (extra). On arrival you will have the
chance either to spend the day exploring Saranda
town at your own leisure or to buy the guided coach
excursion (extra), visiting the open market and the
shopping centre with the local products and to
see the famous Blue Eye Spring and the village of
Karahatz with its luxurious restaurant Foinike for
lunch (included). On the return transfer to Saranda
we have a short coffee break (extra) at Lekures
Castle with the panoramic view to the Ionian Sea
and Butriti Lake.
BBQ boat trip will sail for an hour and a half along
the east coast before crossing the Straits of Corfu
and arriving at Kalamas on the Greek mainland.
We stay at this sandy beach for 2½ hours and while
waiting for your BBQ lunch you can swim, sunbath
or take part in various water sports. After lunch we
continue on to the coast of the northern Greece
mainland where we anchor in a small bay, with
time for swimming and snorkeling. We make our
way back to Corfu, passing the port of Igoumenitsa.
Lunch consists of freshly barbecued chicken or
pork, (souvlaki or schnitzel for the kids), Greek
salad, tzatziki (a garlicky yoghurt dip), bread, red
or white wine, cola and water. If you let us know in
advance we can arrange an alternative vegetarian
menu which includes jacket potatoes, tuna or
beans, feta cheese, tzatziki, Greek salad and bread.

Full day guided tour visiting a koum-kouat distillery
where we will have the chance to watch the
production and taste all local Corfu products. After
we will continue to Paleokastritsa with its famous
monastery with free time at leisure before we drive
up to Makrades with the fantastic panoramic view

and have lunch (extra) at one of the traditional local
tavernas.

incredible water park with a choice of 38 slides
and the 3rd largest wave pool in the world. Giant

It’s a cosmopolitan black beach resort situated
10km southeast of Fira, the island’s capital. The
long stretch of beach lies under the impressive
mountain of Mesa Vouno. A stone-paved promenade
for strolling that runs parallel to the beach stretches
across the crescent moon shaped bay. Kamari offers
a wealth of cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and
supermarkets, as well as a lively nightlife. The beach
is organized, with sun beds, umbrellas, and water
sports and diving.
perissa
Is a beautiful beach situated 15 km southeast
of Fira. This black beach features unique
characteristics, crystalline waters and various
beach facilities. Visitors are left spellbound by
the stunning view of the rock especially when
it shines in the dark. Perissa is a nice tourist
resort witnessing a huge tourist movement. The
area is developed with modern amenities and
quite inviting while retaining its strong traditional
character.
fira & firostefanie
Fira is the fiery capital of the island, whose white
cobblestone streets bustle with shops, tavernas,
hotels and cafes, while clinging to the rim of the
caldera nine hundred feet above and its port. It
is one of the few places on the island which is
both close to a sea and offers a good view of the
legendary sunsets. Firostefani is within walking
distance approximately 10 minutes on foot to
Fira.
akrotiri
Located in the south-west part of Santorini, the
plus side of staying here is the proximity to many
of Santorini’s best beaches. Check out the Red
Beach & the White Beach, less crowded spots
for breath taking sunsets, restaurants that are
an arm’s length to the rolling small waves of
the island’s shoreline. Another activity to add is
the Akrotiri Archaeological Site. If you have an
interest in prehistoric settlements of the Aegean
then this is a must see.

Pick up from your hotel. Arrival at Lindos the most
famous and beautiful spot of the island. Lindos is an
attractive village of small white houses and narrow
streets where cars are not allowed. It is also the
site of an ancient acropolis from where the view is
breathtaking. Our next stop is at the Venetian castle
of Monolithos. On the top of the 300 m rock there is
a small church dedicated to Saint Panteleimon. Then
we visit the village of Siana where we stop for Souma
and honey tasting, the two traditional products of the

Chalki Island by boat
Pick up from your hotel and arrival at Kamiros
Skala harbor. This boat trip takes you to the small
paradise Chalki. Time has not touched this small
fishing island, it’s the ideal place for those who
want to avoid crowded and cosmopolitan tourist
resorts and seek for a quiet place as there are
not many cars, not many shops, no bars, no disco
and no water sports. The small (400m) port is
very beautiful with pretty colourful houses, fishing
boats, small coffee shops and few fish taverns. You
will have plenty of time to walk around to swim at
the crystal turquoise water or to enjoy a delicious
lunch with fresh fish (extra).

Skiathos Town
It is the place to eat and to be seen eating. The beautiful people meet up here, have a meal in one
of the harbour-side restaurants and just pass the time over wine and cocktails. Friday and Saturday
nights are best after 10pm. Check out Nicos at Taverna Varthalamis just behind the harbour for a
real Greek Taverna that wants to stay that way. Try Messogia in the back streets for an other real
taverna with character. As for nightlife Skiathos has plenty of it especially in July and August when
the island becomes the Mykonos of the Sporades. By day Skiathos has it’s share of tourist and
postcard shops, travel agents, bars, motorcycle rental agencies and hotels.
Skiathos may be small, but it serves up big doses
of scenery. This Greek isle is edged by some of
the best beaches in the Aegean complemented
by clear blue waves and an emerald countryside.
For the biggest concentration of golden sands,
head south, where you’ll find sleepy villages like
Troulos, a tranquil bay with a cluster of Greek
tavernas. Whitewashed Skiathos Town is spread
over 2 hills on the south-east coast of the island,
it’s a see-and-be-seen kind of place. Skiathos
boasts of more than 60 beaches,the most
famous being the Koukounaries and Lalaria, the
“symbol” of Skiathos.
