Dreams do come true. Parker Compound Bows,
Inc. is living proof of this. In 1984, after a very
successful career with Bear Archery, Parker
founder and present-day CEO Bob
Errett pioneered a vision—a vision that
quickly took flight.
Today, 1,200 retail outlets across the
United States and Canada carry the
Parker bow line. And Parker doesn’t
plan on stopping there. The future for
this veteran company is as bright as the
Vegas Strip, and the innovation seems to
be endless.
In 2010, the Parker Inferno was a
hot commodity. Hunters far and wide
appreciated the bow’s durability,
compact design (30.375 axle to axle)
and generous arrow speed. Its economically friendly price tag coupled with
numerous innovative features ensured
that plenty of archers were eager to
wrap their hands around the Inferno’s
slim two-piece walnut grip—and most
didn’t let go.
If you didn’t get a chance to try out
the Inferno last year, don’t fret. It’s back
and better than ever in 2011. Still

to slide smoothly and without friction.
Dubbed the Inferno FireStorm Package,
this glitzy hunting bundle includes over
ten name-brand accessories—all fieldproven and ready to help make your
hunting dreams reality. I should also
mention that the original features that
made the Inferno so popular—like the
adjustable Inferno Single Cam, extreme
parallel-limb design, Deluxe Roller
Cable Guard, tunable String Suppressor
and premium Stone Mountain Strings—
haven’t gone anywhere.

What a Package
Choosing a bow is usually the first step
in a tedious equipment-selection process. Not so
with the Inferno FireStorm Package. When I first
opened the SKB Hard Shell Hunter Series Bow
Case, I was absolutely blown away by its contents.
Not only could I have jumped onto a plane to a
far-off hunting destination thanks to the durable
and heavily padded SKB case, but I would also be
ready to hunt upon arrival. This package simply has
everything. Sight? Check. Rest? Check. Bowsling?
Check. Stabilizer? Check. Quiver? Check. Peep
sight? Check. Arrows? Check. Broadheads? Check.
Field points? Check. As you can see, the Inferno
FireStorm Package is simply unbelievable.
Black Gold AMP Fiber-Optic Sight
There’s something wonderful about the first and last
thirty minutes of light in the hunting woods.
Hunters live for these times. They know animals are
on their feet, and at any moment their chance to
loose an arrow may be close at hand. And when that
moment occurs, hunters expect to see glowing sight
pins. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case, but
you can rest easy with the Black Gold AMP Sight
on the Inferno. During my testing, this rugged,
adjustable three-pin sight performed flawlessly.
Plenty of brightness, windage and elevation adjustments, a sleek, rounded housing and a leveling
bubble make this sight ideal for virtually any
hunting situation.
Trophy Ridge Whisker Biscuit Rest
Numerous hunters take to the woods with a trusty
Whisker Biscuit attached to their riser. This no-fail
rest is ultra-strong and won’t let the arrow drop
regardless of the bow’s position. Personally, I love the
custom rubber boots, which make for stealthy arrow
loading and unloading. Also, the windage adjustment boasted ease of use, and reference marks were
easily distinguishable.
Parker Stabilizer
Infinitely flexible, the Parker Stabilizer serves its
purpose both as a noise and vibration absorber and
as a balancing tool. Light in terms of weight, but
heavy in terms of durability and performance, this

Six Carbon Express Mutiny Arrows
Revered as one of the premier arrow manufacturers
in the archery industry, Carbon Express pours
genius into every shaft it produces. I found the
Mutiny to be fast, durable and accurate regardless of
distance. And thanks to its Diamond-coat finish, the
Mutiny pulls easily from any target. Laser sorted for
consistency, Mutiny arrows from Carbon Express are
the perfect match for the deadly Inferno.
Broadheads bring home the backstraps.
Parker knows this and has included
six Tru-Fire T1 broadheads in the
Inferno FireStorm Package.
Featuring a ferrule machined from
a solid piece of steel and a firstever Spring Retention System, the
T1s fly like field points, create
massive hemorrhaging and are
virtually indestructible. Testing
showed the T1s made an ideal
partner for the Mutiny arrows.
Also included are six matchweight 100-grain field

The roller-style cable guard completely
encompasses the bow’s cables and reduces
friction as the bow is drawn. Set at 70
pounds, my Inferno was a joy to pull back.
There were no glitches, humps or catches,
and transition into its 80-percent letoff was
very gradual. Then comes the concrete
