Our Honorary Vintner for 2014’s Auction, Paul Hobbs Wines, once again shows
their support of Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation with an auction lot
not to be missed. Start with two nights for four couples at Hotel Healdsburg.
Named by Travel+Leisure as one of the world’s “500 Best Places To Stay”
(2009-2012) and “World’s Best Hotels” (2009-2011). Guest rooms are adorned
with Frette linens, work desks, complimentary wireless and include gourmet
harvest breakfast and valet parking. Beautiful gardens and lawns highlight the
landscaped grounds.
Each couple will receive a magnum of Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
The 2012 Chardonnay is a blend of fruit from three of our favorite Russian
River Valley vineyards, including our Edward James Estate, Ellen Lane Estate,
and Ross Station Estate vineyards. The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of
the diverse terroirs of hallmark Napa Valley vineyards, including: Beckstoffer

Captain Steve McCauley attended the University of the Virgin Islands where
he attained a master’s degree in marine biology. Steve has a U.S. Coast Guard
50-ton Master Captains license and is also a Merchant Marine Officer. He likes

First mate Louise Langello (or Lou, as Steve calls her) love for the ocean
developed through years of summers’ spent along the East Coast of the U.S.
boogey boarding, body boarding and building sand castles. She has a passion
for boats and living on the water and has always loved cooking (and is an
excellent chef by the way) and wanted to find a lifestyle where she could
combine her love for the water with her talent for massage and cooking.

Vence is set in the hills of the Alpes Maritimes department in the ProvenceAlpes-Côte d’Azur region in southeastern France between Nice and Antibes.
Vence is a town of artists, with painters, sculptors and writers of many
nationalities living and working here. The town is full of galleries, sculptures,
decorated buildings and frequent outdoor exhibits.
Four couples will savor every minute of their visit to this historic city while
staying in a modern and private four-bedroom villa high in the hills above
Vence in the French Riviera September 13-20, 2014. This two-level home has
two bedrooms on each floor and the infinity pool provides a private alternative
to the beaches below. The outdoor barbeque affords you an opportunity to

It was as a renowned chef and restaurant owner that Justin first expressed
his creative drive. The love he felt for the act of creating was what ultimately

Working now exclusively with pure acrylic paints (no fillers are used) and
using mostly the palette knife, he produces works of breathtaking beauty and
complexity. His technique might best be described as “sculpting with paint.”
Most works utilize colors that are extraordinarily vibrant, but he also produces
wonderful soft palettes of muted tones, sometimes working entirely in white.
While the subject matter is varied, his works are all reflections of the beauty he
finds in the natural world that surrounds him daily along Highway 30-A. His work
is now widely collected and graces venues throughout the United States. Justin

Set on a hilltop six miles from Montalcino overlooking its vineyards, Castello
Banfi - Il Borgo has beautiful, elegant rooms. Two couples will have a unique
Tuscan experience for three nights. The hotel features an outdoor pool, gym
and its own winery and cellar. Offering views of the Ombrone valley and the
vineyards, each room comes with free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with Sky satellite
channels, and a walk-in rain shower. Rooms are furnished with wood-beam
ceilings and Tuscan-style interiors. A classic Tuscan restaurant in the shade of
the medieval castello, Taverna Banfi is positioned beneath the vaulted arches
of the former barrel cellars of the castle where Brunello once rested in large
oak casks. The menu offers the traditional dishes of Montalcino and Tuscany,
enhanced by the freshness and simplicity of local ingredients. With stone arches
and antique chandeliers, the restaurant provides local specialties for lunch
and dinner. A four course wine-paired luncheon and a five course wine-paired
