Kamp Kiwanis is located on 110 acres
45 minutes north of Montgomery,
in Eclectic. The property is on
beautiful Lake Martin, which makes
camp the perfect spot for sailing,
kayaking, and riding the Banana
Boat. With its wooded trails and
awe-inspiring lakefront views,
Kamp Kiwanis makes it fun for
every girl to participate in her
favorite camp activities. This is
also the home of our popular Sail
Away Camp, where girls learn and
practice their sailing skills.

Your girl (whether she is a current Girl Scout
or not) will have a great summer experience at
Kamp Kiwanis; learning new skills, trying new
activities, and making new friends! The breathtaking lake side property is the perfect setting
for a week of fun programs, including camping
skills, letterboxing, astronomy, environmental
education, and more! Older girls
will appreciate programs that focus on leadership,
such as the Counselor-in-Training program.

All of our programs are designed to promote the
development of girls of courage, confidence, and
character. All girls participate in fun activities, such
as swimming, crafts, boating, and archery. Girls
will learn camp songs, ceremonies and traditions,
ensuring that their summer is unforgettable.

Kamp Kiwanis
Choose Your Neverland Adventure
Summer Camp 2016
Join us on a Neverland Adventure! Come frolic with pixies,
hike the Rainbow Trail with Tiger Lily, stir up mischief with
the Lost Girls, and sail the waters of Lake Martin with Captain Hook and her merry band of pirates! Fun, excitement,
and adventure are in store for all who are brave enough
to believe in faith, trust and Pixie Dust. Traditional Camp
Activities include swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle
boarding, zip lining, arts and crafts, and archery.
Session One: June 26-July 1
Session Two: July 5-July 9
Day Camp (B/J/CSA) Rising 2nd Graders & Up
You’ll experience all the fun of summer camp, minus the
nights away from home. Day Campers will join resident
campers of the same age/grade/level for a day of fun. Day
Campers arrive after breakfast, eat lunch at camp and
leave before dinner. Transportation is provided to and
from service centers.
Sampler (B/J) Rising 2nd - 5th Graders
If you want to try all that camp has to offer, but are a little
nervous about staying the entire week, this is the program
for you! You’ll stay in a cabin, make lots of new friends, and
get to do a little of everything!
Session 1 : Pixies and Pirates
Pixie Dust (B) Rising 2nd & 3rd Graders
All you need is faith, trust, and Pixie Dust! Join us for a
magical adventure as you spend a week frolicking with the
pixies and earn your wings!
A Pirate’s Life for Me! (J/CSA)
All aboard the S.S. Jolly Roger as we set sail on a fabulous
adventure! You’ll become one of Captain Hook’s crew
members-in-training and gain important mariner skills,
such as knot tying, orienteering, treasure hunting, and a
variety of boating skills. Rising 4th Graders & Up
Session 2: Tiger Lily and the Lost Girls
Tiger Lily’s Tribe (B) Rising 2nd & 3rd Graders
As a Tiger Lily “tribe member,” you’ll explore the
natural world around you, follow the clues of the
rainbow trail to discover Tik Tok the Croc’s secret
treasure before the pirates do, and have a sleep-in
breakfast at your tribe’s campsite.
The Lost Girls of Kamp Kiwanis (J/CSA)
Rising 4th Graders & Up
Join the Lost Girls of Kamp Kiwanis for a week of
fun, adventure, and mischief! You and your fellow
“Lost Girls” will explore the natural wonders on the
shores of Lake Martin, have a sleep-in breakfast at
the Lost Girls’ Hideout, and stir up a little mischief
too.
Specialty Programs
Swimmerettes (B) Rising 2nd & 3rd Graders
Join the Swimmerettes for some fabulous aquatic fun! You’ll learn swimming skills, work on your
paddling at the boat dock, play fun water games,
take a ride on the Banana Boat, and participate in a
Dolphin Dive lunch down at the dock!
Mermaids (J) Rising 4th & 5th Graders
In Mermaids, you’ll work on your swimming skills,
go snorkeling, try out the kayaks, canoes, paddle
boards, and Sunfish, play lots of fun water games,
take a ride on the Banana Boat, and participate in a
Dolphin Dive Lunch down at the dock!
Aquadettes (C/S/A) Rising 6th Graders & Up
As an Aquadette, you’ll fine tune your swimming
and boating skills, learn basic water rescue skills,
go snorkeling, play fun water games, take a ride on
the Banana Boat, and participate in a Dolphin Dive
Lunch!
Leadership Programs
Program Aide (C) Rising 6th-8th Graders
Are you a leader and want to help out with programs and
activities for younger girls? Join one of our leadership
programs! You’ll learn or expand your knowledge of
leadership skills, teamwork, leading activities and working
with groups of younger girls. Additionally, you’ll have the
opportunity to shadow counselors and gain hands-on
experience working with girls.
Boater in Training (S/A) Rising 9th -12th Graders
All the fun and experience of our leadership programs are
combined with boating in this program! You will expand
the leadership skills you’ve learned previously and spend
time at the waterfront learning what it takes to be a boating
counselor. You’ll help facilitate boating classes and activities and earn your Boating Certification.
Camp Intern (S/A) Rising 9th -12th Graders
You’ve completed CIT 1 and CIT 2, and now you’re ready
to be a Camp Intern! As a Camp Intern, you’ll gain valuable
knowledge and work experience that they can apply to
other parts of your life. You’ll spend your first week fine
tuning your skills, and your second week assisting different
groups and programs each day. In addition, you’ll become
stewards of camp’s traditions by planning one of the
nightly all-camp activities and hosting Closing Campfire on
Thursday!
