McArthurGlen’s La Reggia Designer Outlet is 25 minutes north of Naples, and reached by car or shuttle bus. As well as the likes of Prada and Valentino, the centre offers many Neapolitan brands, reflecting the importance of tailoring in a city once known as the Paris of the Mediterranean. And for a place to eat, world-renowned Rossopomodoro offers authentic Neapolitan cuisine. The architecture at La Reggia is inspired by the Byzantine domes of the Amalfi coast, and the water fountains echo the sound of the sea on the rocks at Naples or the beaches of Sorrento and the island of Capri. And if you are taken by the classically inspired bronze horse’s head at the main entrance, a visit to the Naples National Archaeological Museum is a must.
