Every year more than 70,000,000 /1 cars are produced around the world. A single car contains up to
10,000 /2 individual parts. Many of those parts have been processed in one of our production facilities.
So, for example, multiple layers of rubber-metal bonding are installed in chassis. In order to ensure
secure bonding of materials, the metal parts must be pre-treated and coated.
This is our job: As a world leading specialist for coating technologies, we are a recognised partner to
the national and international automotive industry.

BEFORE THE COATING PROCESS BEGINS: THE PRE-TREATMENT STAGE
In order to ensure a perfect basis for a safe rubber-metal bonding, the individual vehicle parts to be processed must be pre-treated prior to coating or
vulcanisation. The GOTEC Group has a modern machine park of degreasing,

CERTIFIED ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The central goals are the efficient use of resources, the increase of environmental
compatibility and the associated reduction in the environmental load and recycling
of leftovers. The conscious use of resources is reflected in the certification of our
environmental management system which contains considerably more strict requirements than are legally necessary.
FOR A GOOD CLIMATE: ARC
The GOTEC Group doesn‘t think long and hard about climate, it acts immediately
and starts right at our own door: We do everything we possibly can to prevent and
to reduce our own emissions. Thus contributing towards the reduction of the total
global emissions of greenhouse gases. Our aim: Instead of relying on out-dated
technologies and procedures, we advocate a low-carbon future.
With our future in mind and under the motto "avoid-reduce-compensate" we,
among other things, avoid unnecessary flights, use modern technology to reduce
energy use and compensate for emission saving potentials that cannot yet be
realised by supporting climate protection projects.

Of course, the wellbeing of our clients and employees is important. But the topic of
"social involvement" also means a lot to us. We have considered tomorrow‘s world
intensively and we support a range of environmental and nature protection organisations.
FOUNDATION OF THE SAVE - WILDLIFE CONSERVATION FUND
In addition, the SAVE - Wildlife Conservation Fund was founded by the GOTEC
Group. This foundation actively campaigns for the promotion of the protection
of nature and species conservation. SAVE uses children‘s aid projects, consumer
education, education and wild animal research to show people how to maintain
the same quality of life and live in harmony with nature and animals.
