How to find us
From Annecy:
As you enter Annecy ensure the lake is
on your left. As you go around the lake
you will see the old town on your right.
Keep going until you reach the first
roundabout. Take the 2nd exit. About 5
minutes outside Annecy town you will
enter “Sevrier beau Rivage”.
Remain on the main road following signs to St Jorioz for a further
5 minutes. You will pass a McDonalds on your right, when you
come to a roundabout go straight over. Continue on the main road
until you pass a Peugeot dealer on your right at the next traffic
light turn right towards St Eustache and St Jorioz town centre.
There is a chemist on the corner. Route de L’eglise, D10A.
Go past the church on your left and just past the St Jorioz sign
turn left into Route des Bons Molards. At the T junction at the
end of the road turn right into Route de Villaret, follow the road
round to the left watching out for the sign to St Eustache. It looks
like a different road but the name of it remains Route de Villaret.
Turn left into Impasse du Conis, the sign post says Atelier Martinage and Le Clay. Drive down the road for around a minute, our
house is after what looks like a barn, turn left, our house is the only one to the left. You will see a house on the right hand corner
and another after it. Drive into our drive to the left of the turn off.
The Chalet

We have a no smoking policy in the chalet
We have a smart TV, SKY, DVD player, with
DVD`s, Sony play station 3 and Apple TV`s (see
appendix for more detailed information).
We provide wireless internet.

Please borrow our bikes. Don`t forget to
check the tyres and brakes before use. We
cannot accept liability for any accidents while
borrowing our bikes. The cycle path will take
you into Annecy—very safe for the young
ones. You can also hire from Big Jump, Route

Heated Pool: The pool is fenced in accordance with French law—but you still need to
keep an eye on the kids! Please do not use
the pool after 11.30 pm as the noise can disturb our neighbours.
Hot Tub: Please replace the top at night to
ensure it remains hot. keep an eye on the
kids! Please do not use the hot tub after
11.30 pm as the noise can disturb our neighbours.
In the sauna, the right hand dial on the
heating unit should be set to 3. Allow
the temperature to get to 60 on the
gauge before using and adding water.

In the utility room we have a washing machine and a separate washer dryer. For very
large washes there is a very good laundrette
10 min from the house. Head in the direction
Annecy. Before the first roundabout on the left
amongst some shops (opposite side of the
road to the Carrefour)
For larger groups the hot water tank may
not cope so well if you all bath and shower at the same time. There are two
tanks—one that feeds the main house
and the other that feeds the shower room
off the rear bedrooms.
The bin is located in the drive way, The collection is from the top of the road every Saturday
morning.
Bin liners can be found under the kitchen sink
Gas is provided by bottles to the hob. In
the unlikely event the gas should run out
then please call the property manager.
There is a barbecue at the rear of the
house next to the table & chairs. Please
ensure when using the barbecue you pull
it away from the house so it no longer is
under the balcony in case of fire.
Fire extinguisher are kept in the kitchen under
the microwave and on the first floor by the
book case. Smoke detectors are also fitted.

You will find our property is well equipped for your young families.

Visiting the area
A satnav is available. Please ask the property manager should you want to use it.
A 150 euro deposit will be required.
The Village is a 5 min drive from the chalet. It has a Supermarket,
Boulangerie, Chemist, Opticians , GP Surgery, Beautician, Hairdressers, Coffee shop , Small Gym , Bank & Tourist Office.
There is a local market in the village
every Thursday morning.
The lake is 5 min drive from the house. After leaving the house
take the road all the way down to the lake road. At the roundabout at the bottom take the 3rd exit toward Annecy. About
200yds with the fruit seller on the corner take next immediate
right. Follow the road round until the T junction. Turn right. Immediately you will cross the cycle path. Follow the road for 1/4
mile. You will pass the crazy golf on your left. At the end of the
road you have two options.
Option 1: Park and walk through to the lake and immediately in
front of you, you will see the following:

Other areas to visit
La Clusaz: Lovely day out to this local ski resort that has lots
of things for kids to do including dry sledging, a lovely pool
with great slides for adults and kids to enjoy. Go to

Thones: With its Saturday morning market this lovely town
is worth a visit on market day.
Col de Forclaz: To get the most beautiful view of the lake go to
the top of the Col. On your way you will pass the sign for the Forest of Adventure assuming you go in the direction Talloires. At
the top you can have lunch and see how the local cheeses are
made.
Yvoire: On the lake of Geneva this beautiful medieval town is
definitely worth a visit. Go to www.yvoiretourism.com

Mobile phones often allow this number when abroad
The fuse boxes are located in the hallway
off the eating area. Always check the main
fuses if the lights go off. If there is still a
problem call the property manager
And Finally...
Please remember that the property you are staying in is a family
home. Although accidents do happen, the Owners will be
trusting you to take reasonable care of their property during your
stay and to treat it as you would your own home.
When it’s time to go home...
Please remember that you should leave your property as you
found it. Please make sure that the fridge is emptied and that
the kitchen is left clean and tidy. If the house is left in a mess
then you will be charged for the extra hours it takes to clean. This
will be paid for using your security deposit and is subject to a £10
administration charge.
Your Bill: please ensure that any outstanding bills are paid for the
night before your departure. Any unpaid bills will be paid for using your security deposit plus a £10 administration charge.

Things to know

You will be given 2 keys: one that opens all doors and one
for the pool area.

Please roll out the pool cover at the end of the day so the
pool stays warm for you the next day.

Please bring in all sun bed mattresses at the end of the day
so they don't get damp.

We do have neighbours so please be aware the area is very
quiet and noise travels.
