Consistency: Pasty
Colour: White .
Solvents: None
Working temperature (air + base surface): +5 °C to +25 °C
Installation: Coating: The base surface should be clean, free of dust and stable. The pasty coating is applied to
the FOAMGLAS® insulation using a stainless steel trowel or a notched trowel (depth of notches
min. 5 mm). Tools can be cleaned with water. For a basic coating PC® 164 is spread on the dust-free FOAMGLAS®
surface with a smoothing trowel and levelled.
Adhesive: The base surface should be clean, free of dust and stable. Start with stirring of PC® 164 and apply it to
one short and one long side of the FOAMGLAS® slabs (in stack) and to the entire surface of the FOAMGLAS® slab,
using a notched trowel (depth of notches 6 – 8 mm). The insuation slab is adhered to the wall by pushing it
diagonally into the open corner.
Working time: 15 - 20 minutes (surface). Drying time: About 3 to 5 days depending on building moisture
Storage*: See label for expiration date. Store cool and dry in well-closed container. Protect against frost, heat and
direct sun exposure.
Consumption: As a coating, about 3.5 kg/m2. Note: In swimming pools with high relative humidity the additional
application of a primer-sealer, for example PC® 130, on top of the basic coating PC® 164 is strongly recommended.
