Royaye Sefid - Bridal / Red Carpet Collection 2011/2012
Royaye Sefid 2011, wich means "Bright Dreams" in Persian, was presented at Oslo Fashion Week the 16th February 2011
and is Leila Hafzis second Bridal- & Red Carpet Collection.
The first Bridal- & Red Carpet Collection was presentes in 2010 and it’s fluttering dresses, made of silk chiffon,
silk organza or handpainted silks has been a great succsess both national and international.
Leila Hafzi knew she still had many dresses yet to be designed and that all the different styles could fit into one whole collection
- The 2´nd ”Royaye Sefid” Collection was therefor the natural next step for the brand.
The dresses from the two collections are draped and decorated with details such as flower applications, silk belts and/or corsages
underneath delicat silk fabrics to embrace the femininity of women. Both collections are available in soft colours like cream whites
and champagne with a hint of gold, light lavender, peach and blushy tones, but due to the brands vision of sustainable fashion,
the dresses may also be ordered in a variety of colours for Red Carpet-events and other festivities.
The brand, LEILA HAFZI, came to in Stavanger, Norway in 1997. On the scene of high-end fashion, a new voice was born and the ethicaland
eco-conscious trade found a future leading lady. In a sensual, elegant manner, cultures have been explored and environmental issues
highlighted.
Unfading joy of creation has made this multiple award-winning brand into the red carpet frequenter it has become. The trans-cultural
collaboration that is the LEILA HAFZI-team makes the impossible possible in the hazy and sometimes chaotic production site of Kathmandu.
ETHICAL- AND ECO-CONSCIOUS PRODUCTION
The design- and production company, Nepal Productions AS, was established in 2005. The company is a proud member of The Ethical Trading
Initiative - Norway, (IEH); a multi stakeholder initiative involving companies, employers, organizations, trade unions and NGOs. IEH's activities
are based on the acknowledgement that companies have a responsibility towards human rights (including internationally accepted labor
rights) in their supply chain.
Our work to establish an environmental friendly production cycle continues. Through years of first hand experience on working in a developing
country, we see that we have come far. And although there are still lengths to go, we are confident that we will get there, overcoming the
challenges, one at a time.
