Welcome
Thank you for your interest in Penrith Paceway as the venue
to hold your function, where every endeavour will be made to
ensure your event is a memorable and special occasion.
Located right in the heart of Penrith on the corner of Station
and Ransley Streets, Paceway is close to main Shopping
Centres and sporting facilities, and is just a short stroll
away from Public Transport. From the M4 Motorway, exit at
Mulgoa Road and turn in the direction of Penrith. Paceway
will be on your right after about 3km.
The Paceway is a prestigious venue for Weddings, Birthdays,
Farewells, Seminars and Conferences, and can offer several
rooms to suit the needs of your special function.
Paceway Function Centre
With plenty of off-street parking right at the door, this single
storey venue with a ‘no step’ entry is appreciated by the
elderly and those with any degree of physical handicap. Our
Function Centre stands alone on the Showground premises
and boasts a private garden with a Gazebo available for your
own use during your event.
Paceway can cater for up to 180 guests.
With a wide variety of Menus available, you may choose an
elegant buffet or make a selection from our wide range of
table served meals. All Prices include GST.
Members’ Room
This large Function Room located above our Registered Club
has the capacity to seat approximately 300 guests.
An advantage to using this room for your event would be the
availability of the Club’s Bistro – open during Club hours –
should you not be having a catered function.
The Function Room also as a huge, grand dance floor.
Sky Lounge
The Sky Lounge overlooks the Harness Racing track and
is available for bookings on Race Nights. It has a seating
capacity for up to 180 guests.
The Sky Lounge is ideal for smaller functions such as
Birthdays, Office or Christmas Parties.
As with all Function Rooms at Paceway, stages,
microphones, lecterns and a wide range of visual aid
equipment is available at no extra cost.

Terms and Conditions of Use
Perfect Functions
Room Hire:
Number of Guests:
Room hire is for five hours from the nominated time of
arrival for your guests. Please note where there is a large
amount of time between ceremony and reception we are
unable to allow guests to enter reception area prior to your
nominated time. The per head cost includes room hire,
staff, cleaning, table cloths and napkins.
Total number of guests must be notified of 21 days prior.
Guest numbers may be increased prior to function.
Additional charge of $120 for room hire is charged for an
extra hour. This cost does not include drinks for the additional
time. Please advise in advance if additional time is required.
Room Hire only is charged at $600.
Bar:
Please note we abide by the Responsible Service of Alcohol
Directions issued by the Licensing Court and may refuse
service to any person or persons deemed adversely
affected by alcohol. Our Bar Manager’s decision will be final
in this matter.
No refund will be made for non-attendance of guests after
notification of final numbers.
The minimum number of guests is 65. This may be reduced
at the discretion of Management however a surcharge will
apply.
Damages:
Hirers will be held responsible for any malicious damage
caused by guests during the function. The use of walls for
displaying material is not permitted. No pins or sticky tape
or blue tack shall be used on walls or ceiling.
Children:
Children up to and including twelve years of age will be
charged at $23 per head.
Patrons or guests are not permitted to bring liquor onto the
premises. Spirits and cocktails are available at bar prices.
Other:
Deposit & Final Payment:
All prices quoted are inclusive of GST where applicable.
Provided 120 days notice is given in writing and the space
re-booked, a refund will be given upon cancellation. A
handling fee of $120 will be charged. No deposit will be
refunded for functions cancelled within 60 days.
A deposit of $500 is required to confirm a booking. If a
deposit has not been paid the date will not be held.
Deposit is refunded after the function and is not included as
part payment of total due.
Total cost must be paid by 21 days prior to function.
For couples desiring a marriage celebrant to perform the
marriage ceremony, the Gazebo and Garden is available at
an additional fee of $110.
A change room is available at no charge for the Bridal Party.
Meals for disk jockey, photographer, band, etc. will be at
the client’s expense and charged at $23 per head.
Every endeavour will be made to hold prices as quoted,
however market changes may cause a slight increase for
bookings over 6 months from date of booking.
Entry to Paceway Function Centre is via Gate 1, Ransley
Street, Penrith, and these directions can be included on
your invitations.
We are happy to arrange inspections for prospective clients
during mornings prior to other weddings.
