We are a Christian school where children are nurtured
spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically
in a caring, safe environment.
CHAPEL OFFERINGS
Chapel offerings for January will be used for AID FOR FRIENDS. Their mission is to serve needy, isolated shut-ins,
primarily the frail elderly, in the five-county Greater Philadelphia area, with free daily home-cooked meals delivered
weekly by empathetic volunteer visitors, and also to provide shut-ins with free outreach services. The goal is to help their
homebound “client/friends” maintain their cherished independence by supporting their determination to remain in their
own homes for as long as possible and to enhance their quality of life.
CALLING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS!!
As we go through the school year, you’ll be taking lots of pictures (of parties, environmental
ed, school trips, plays, etc.). As you take those pictures, if you have any that you think would
look great in our school yearbook, we’d appreciate your sending them in. Please note: we
cannot return any pictures! Thanks for your help in making the 2007/2008 yearbook the best
one ever!
YEARBOOK COMMITTEE will meet Thursday, February 7th, 3:00-4:00 p.m.
BANANA BREAD FUND-RAISER
How would you like a delicious loaf of BANANA BREAD? Sounds great, doesn’t it? Our
own Lynn Walsh will be making some banana breads, and is willing to take orders for plain,
or walnut, or raisin, or chocolate chip banana bread. She’ll bake it, and package it wrapped
for freezing. Just call her at 215-246-2139 or email her at lwalsh@mckhof.com. She’ll let
you know when to expect your home-made BANANA BREAD. $7 a loaf. Proceeds will go
to our fund-raising efforts for the school.

Once every ten weeks, we feed hungry people at
the Salvation Army (4344 Frankford Avenue).
The next Feeding the Hungry will be on
Saturday, February 23rd . Volunteers are needed
to cook a casserole ahead of time, and to go to the Salvation Army on
Saturday to set up, serve, and clean up. We need your help. The folks that
we serve are always so very grateful for the efforts of our volunteers. If
you can help, please call the office (215-624-6446), or sign up via the tearoff below.
Then the king will say to those at his right hand, “Come, you that are
blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was
thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you
welcomed me, I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you
took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.” Then the righteous
will answer him, “Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave
you food, or thirsty and gave you something to drink? And when was it
that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you, or naked and gave you
clothing? And when was it that we saw you sick or in prison and visited
you?” And the king will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it
to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to
me.”
