YWCA Cambridge is thrilled to host the 10th anniversary of Cheryl-Ann Webster's Beautiful Women
Project opening March 7!
But this is no ordinary exhibit. Our “gallery” at 55 Dickson Street has been transformed into a Body
Image School. This family friendly, interactive art exhibit puts YOU in control of how you think about
and consume beauty culture, and allows you to safely come to really know yourself!
You can sponsor a sculpture by visitng the store on our Facebook Page (YWCA Cambridge).
All proceeds support the growth and expansion of YWCA Cambridge's Girl's Programs and Girls'
Centre. Let's work together to educate girls to love their bodies and utilize their incredible skills and
talents!

our Girls’ Centre's March Break Camp for girls 9-13!
Girls will spend the week involved in self-exploration activities, engrossed in ideas of body image, self-esteem, and social justice.
As well as engaging in arts, crafts and hands on activities,
girls will create and decorate their own face masks to be displayed in the Beautiful Women Project exhibit!
WHEN AND WHERE: March 11-15, 9:00-4:00 at YWCA Cambridge Girls’ Centre

ROOTS OF EMPATHY WANTS
YOU!
Would you like to make a difference in the lives of children in
your community? Roots of Empathy might be just the program
for you. This award-winning program teaches social and
emotional literacy to school-aged children in Grades K – 8 in
the Waterloo Region. You will partner with a local family and
their new baby to teach students empathy and acceptance of
