Greetings Members ,
Typically the summer has been a slow time for our club.
Thankfully, due to our delicious Friday night dinners, ladies nights
and great members, we’ve been doing a little better than usual. That
isn’t to say we aren’t still struggling, but we appreciate our
members taking the time to come in. We know summer is busy and it’s hot, but try
to stop by and enjoy some food, cold beverages and Elk friendship.
If you do stop in, you might see a new addition to our staff – bartender
Cameron Taylor. Not only does he tell some good jokes, make some delicious
drinks and sings the occasional tune, he’s also known for selling horse jars in a
day, so bring some dollars to play!
During July, we are continuing our Wednesday Guys’ Night, Thursday
Ladies’ Night and Friday Friends on the Balcony. Also, August 6 will be our
annual Elks golf outing. We will be using our traditional two-person scramble
format. Look for sponsorship opportunities and sign ups at the golf course soon.
The golf outing proceeds, as always, will go to local youth organizations that are
always in need of our financial support.
Our Queen of Hearts is up to $2800, so winner takes home $1400! Drawings
are Fridays at 8:30. Remember to get your tickets.
