The YMCA Achievers Program is a national college and career readiness initiative designed to help teens pursue higher education and career goals. The Program supports and encourages youth in the areas of academics, career exploration, college preparation and leadership development. Through academic support and mentoring, the program helps youth raise their academic standards, develop a positive sense of self, build character, explore diverse college and career options and meet and interact with professionals of color who serve as role models to inspire them to greater heights.
