A variety of fun contests and activities will entertain both kids and adults all weekend long from snow pony races and the Dummy Downhill to costume parades and the crowning of this year’s Queen. There will also be plenty of cookouts, face painting at Tamarack, scavenger hunts, balloon races, skijoring demonstrations, wine & cheese parties, a Mercy Flight Raffle, lots of live music, and the Snow Bar returns each day from noon to 4:30pm at the base of Yodeler! Purchase a voucher for $23.99 Canadian or U.S., then join us for a day of fun in the snow! Vouchers are good for March 12, 2013 only. Vouchers are available starting one week ahead of the Cabin Fever Days. Canadian shops include Corbetts in Oakville, Ski Pro in St. Catharines, Source for Sports in London, Salomon Outlet in Niagara Falls, Paramount, Cupulos. GUNS ‘N HOSES SNOWMAKERS RACE Saturday, March 16 A unique event that invites snowmaking teams from other resorts as well as fire companies to race down Cindy’s Run. The challenge: ski down with hoses in hand, hook ‘em up to the hydrants and cross the finish line first. Spectators encouraged! NORTHWIND SUPER G Sunday, March 17 This is your chance to let ‘em rip! A radar gun will clock your speed on the Super G course on Northwind. Open to all ages. POND SKIMMING Saturday, March 23 A crazy celebration of spring skiing and all the fun that goes with it! Sign up to skim across an ice water filled pond or just come watch … it’s a guaranteed good time! Part two is the Cardboard Box Race with points for creativity, style and ingenuity. TELEFEST Friday, March 8 Demo telemark skis, boots and bindings with licensed PSIA instructors. All experience levels are encouraged to enjoy this day devoted to the free heel movement. Cost is $65 per person (or $30 with a HoliMont pass). Tele-race, clinics, raffles, prizes and special rental pricing available.
