Summer school programs offer a wide variety of
learning opportunities for school age students from
Grade1 to Grade 12:

If you want to complete an academic course, you
can take an Academic Full Credit course.
If you wish to learn skills and increase knowledge,
you can take an Enrichment non-credit course.
If you need to recover a course credit, you can take
an Academic Remedial-Review course.
And for those who want something extra, there
are a variety of summer camps!

Are you in Grade 6 or higher and want to be a babysitter?
Do you want to feel more confident staying at home alone?
This course will focus on the business of babysitting,
creating safe environments, caring safely for babies &

• Absences in excess of three days are NOT acceptable. Do not register if extended absences for any
reason are anticipated: work, vacations, sports,
family commitments, etc.

optional 4-week program designed for school age

This new Summer Learning program will actively
engagestudents in a variety of integrated,
inquiry-based and hands-on projects using
technology and outdoor field experiences.
Students will preview all subject areas of the new
curriculum (Language Arts, Math, Science,
Socials).

Enrichment Grades 1-7 non-credit courses are
designed to cover provincial learning outcomes in
basic and academic English preparation/ELL, drama
& dance, English, French, math & science. School age
students will review and preview important
concepts.

• Category A students may register for only one
Enrichment Grades 1-7 course.
• NOTE: Category A Grade 7 students may register
for only one Grade 7 Enrichment course OR 1, 2 OR
3 Grade 8 Enrichment non-credit courses
• Select your course carefully.
If you registered for 2 or more Grades 1-7 courses,

or your child may be withdrawn from all Summer
Learning courses.
