Summer school programs offer a wide variety of
learning opportunities for school age students from
Grade1 to Grade 12:

If you want to complete an academic course, you
can take an Academic Full Credit course.
If you wish to learn skills and increase knowledge,
you can take an Enrichment non-credit course.
If you need to recover a course credit, you can take
an Academic Remedial-Review course.
And for those who want something extra, there
are a variety of summer camps!

Do you want to feel more confident staying at home alone?
This course will focus on the business of babysitting,

students in a variety of dynamic and interactive
learning activities beyond the scope typical of most
schools. Add one or two camps to extend your time

YOU NEED TO KNOW:
ATTENDANCE
• Absences in excess of three days are NOT acceptable. Do not register if extended absences for any
reason are anticipated: work, vacations, sports,
family commitments, etc.
HOW MANY SUMMER CAMPS CAN A STUDENT
TAKE?
• Students may register for one, two or three
summer camps.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
• Please email/fax (rce@sd38.bc.ca, fax 778.296.4252)
your valid BC Study Permit by 4 pm of the next
day after registering online along with your name,
phone number, email address and camp name.
• Additional fees apply.
NON-RICHMOND PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS
by 4 pm of the next day after registering online:
• (i) Student’s first and last name, phone number,
email address and camp name
• (ii) a copy of your parent’s birth certificate,
permanent resident card, passport, or valid BC Work Permit, and
• (iii) proof that they live in BC (e.g. BC Driver’s
Licence, BC CareCard)
PICK UP & DROP OFF OF STUDENTS
• Drop off/pickup must be done within 5 minutes of
start/end of class times
REFUNDS
• There is a 10% processing charge for withdrawals
before the second session.
• There are no refunds after the second session.
REPORT CARDS & PREREQUISITES
• Students must bring their June 2016 report card to
their first class.
WAIT LISTS
• If a course is full, you may place yourself on a Wait
List using our online registration system. More
blocks/sections may be opened. You will be called
only if a space opens up.
