Feb. 7, 2014 Issue #14 Suzuki Samurai 1 Inch and 2 Inch Body Lift Kit (SKU# SSP-BL) You can check out our YouTube Channel by clicking HERE or our instructions library by clicking HERE. Installation Instructions Background: These instructions are designed for installing the 2” body lift. Our approach is to raise the entire body and install all the spacers at once. These instructions can also be used successfully when installing the 1” body lift. However, when installing a 1” body lift, some have found it easier to install the spacers, one side at a time. This could be a better approach especially if you do not have a twin post lift. CAUTION: Safety glasses should be worn at all times when working with vehicles and related tools and equipment. For additional copies of these and other instructions go to: We recommend reading these instructions Body Hardware c o m p l e t e l y tIdentification hrough, before beginning the job. It is important to strengthen these brackets to ensure that failure does not occur. Our TG Weld Washers were made with that purpose in mind. Our TG Weld Washers are made out of 4130 chromoly steel and are chamfered for welding. TG Weld Washers can also be used for reinforcing thin sheet metal. These arms are the best replacement when your upper control arm bushings or when your upper ball joint wears out. Why? They are very adjustable, offer more ball joint deflection and much stronger than the stock units. The ball joint is used on off road vehicles for years.... and if the joint ever does wear out or the boot tears they are both replaceable... which is much easier than replacing the whole upper control arm. Many lifted Toyota Tundras and Sequoias cannot be returned to factory alignment specs with OEM cam bolts due to geometry change or corrosion. This new Upper Control Arm kit allows for +/-2° of camber and 0° to +4° of caster change vs. the fixed OEM upper control arm. The OEM style sealed high-angle ball joint allows for additional droop travel without the squeaks and rattles commonly caused by unsealed Uniball-style arms. The hybrid tubular steel design is tough enough to survive even the harshest usage. Use these remove and replace arms in conjunction with the factory cams to maximize clearance in the wheel well at the same time that you get your drivability back and extend tire life.
