Updated information will be provided on medical and interventional management of acute stroke, treatment of other neurological emergencies including status epilepticus and acute neuromuscular weakness, new paradigms on surgical approaches to intracerebral hemorrhage, and issues related to anoxic brain injury. Discussion will include the approach to selecting disease modifying therapy in multiple sclerosis, challenging cases in neuropsychology, the elusive postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, the approach to tremor, and examining system-level quality improvement for the neuroscience patient in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
