We are asking club managers to provide their 4-H Club t-shirt ASAP in order to construct the quilt before the drawing. Also a donation item commitment is needed so we can itemize awards and print tickets quickly. We are asking PLEASE join in and help! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Application is available at http://www.ncjls.org/ For additional information, please contact the NCJLS Office at 361.387.5395. 2016 TEXAS FARM CREDIT’S MARSHA MARTIN SCHOLARSHIP DUE MARCH 1 Texas Farm Credit invites students to submit their application to their scholarship program. Texas Farm Credit established a scholarship program for seniors who are graduating and pursuing a college degree in an agriculture-related field of study. This may include, but is not limited to, agricultural business, animal science, and agricultural economics. Texas Farm Credit awards five, one-time scholarships in the amount of $2,000.00. The Marsha Martin Scholarship application is available online at https://www.texasfcs.com/. 2016-2017 NUECES COUNTY 4-H COUNCIL OFFICER ELECTIONS Officer elections for the new upcoming 2016-2017 4-H service year (September 1, 2016 through August 31, 2017) will be held during the 4-H Council meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2016. Applications, as well as the Council Standing Rules and eligibility requirements, are available online http://nueces.agrilife.org/publications/4-h-youth-development/. The newsletter contains information on activities, events, and deadlines that 4-H families need to keep up to date with happenings in the Nueces County 4-H program. It also brings educational items of interest to encourage further research by readers. To contribute items to this newsletter for publication, the article must have a club manager’s signature approval prior to submission. The 25th day of current month is the deadline for the next month’s issue. For the combined June/July issue, articles are due by May 25. THE NUECES 4-H CLOVER CHRONICLES will be emailed to all 4-H families enrolled on 4-H CONNECT. For those members who prefer a hard copy document, please call the Nueces County 4H Office at 361.767.5220 to request a copy be mailed.
