Spring 2016 - Re
Hello friends,
When I was a kid, about 5 or 6 years old, I remember
going to service stations with my parents and getting the
royal treatment. The guy would pump the gas, wash the
windshield and even check the oil.
Oh yeah, and he would TALK to you.
Actually look you in the eye!
That type of personal service is a far
cry from what we experience today.
How many times have you heard the
words, “Have a nice day…” but not
really felt any sincerity behind them?
When was the last time someone paid attention to just
you when you were checking out at a store, ordering a
meal or paying for some so-called service? Attentive
service is such a thing of the past that every time I tried to
find an internet clip-art of a service station, the image was
always under ‘retro’ or ‘antique!’ Wow!!
I wager that your experience is a bit like mine…that it’s
more the exception than the rule to find someone who is
genuine, focused and present.
‘Service Station’ is an interesting notion…an oasis of care
in the midst of a busy day. We have to do so much
ourselves, that a helping hand, a bright smile and a
genuine word of interest can certainly do wonders!
You do see where I’m going with this, don’t you?
Re-Creation is a type of mobile ‘service station.’
We
diligently train the cast members to interact with the
veterans, the staff, the visitors, the families…everyone(!)
with a sincere approach, a genuine smile and an honest
aire.
situation…his or her personal situation.
The group
members see that a gentleman or lady in a wheelchair
probably hasn’t had the chance to dance in a while. Or a
staff member may indicate that a particular veteran has
not had an outside visitor for a very long time. RC
performers make sure to get that special one-on-one time
and dance at the wheelchair side or hold a conversation.
They’ll be sure to get on the veterans
level, by kneeling down, or leaning
over the bed, so our soldiers can
look them in the face, see their smile
and really talk!
Again, try to
encourage this generation to see
any kind of need and meet it, let
alone an emotional one.
Now your RC ambassadors didn’t
come to the group with all this
training. But they did come with
willing hearts and compassionate spirits. And most of
them take to the training like ducks to water, providing a
throwback-type of ‘service’ that attends, encourages,
comforts and heals.
“Words cannot describe how much our veterans,
staff and members of our community enjoyed the
recent performance of RE-CREATION!
It was
moving to watch residents, who normally sit slumped
over staring in their laps, sit upright with their eyes
glued to the performers. Many residents who haven’t
moved in years were waving their hands and arms to
the beat of the music and tapping their toes. Family
members were especially thrilled to see their loved
ones respond the way they did.
We are already
looking forward to seeing them again next year!”
State Veterans Home, California
So much richness in that testimonial. So much service…
to the vets, the family and the staff!
In this issue of our newsletter, you’ll hear
from the young people who are leaving
the group, some who have already left
and are parlaying their training into
further service and from the newlyaccepted ones who will join our ranks
this summer.
Re-Creation cast members make sure
to look the veterans in the eye! Try
getting a young person nowadays to
look at you when they talk, well, if you
can avert his or her gaze from the
phone!
Re-Creation cast members train to
use positive words and uplifting,
animated gestures! They deliberately
strive to enliven the area with their energy and presence.
Try soliciting that kind of dynamic from today’s young
people who shrink away in social situations, especially
those including groups of older or incapacitated folks.
Re-Creation cast members challenge themselves to
‘meet the need!’ They assess emotional and physical
wounds and work to override them, if even for the
moment. They can’t diagnose, per se, but your young
ambassadors make the effort to consider a veterans
We will continue to train.
They will continue to serve.
Please, continue to help.
We’ve included a selfaddressed, return envelope for you in this mailing. The
summer months, with two groups running at the same
time, is particularly taxing. An extra gift to F.O.R-C.E.S.
or the general fund would help greatly as we equip, train
and send out the next attendants!
Your ‘attendants!’
Thank you for your continued enthusiasm!
Jay
THE SERVICE CONTINUES!
People often ask, “What do the kids do when they leave the group?” Well, we thought you’d appreciate a
glimpse into one young lady who sang with us for three years, and has now found her training blossoming into
a vocation!
REBECCA ACLIN - “When I joined the 37th edition of Re-Creation, I knew I was embarking on
a journey that had defined much of my past. What I had no way of knowing was how it would
transform my future.
I received excellent performance training and an incomparable
opportunity to travel, but beyond that, my time with RC deepened my faith in God’s goodness
and clarified His call in my life.
From having no idea what kind of career I might be suited for, God gave me direction through
some wonderful friends and experiences to a vocation that embodies some of the most
valuable lessons I learned in my three years of touring with Re-Creation.
You see, as fun as it was to be on stage, what defined Re-Creation for me was the people, both the veterans
we met and the family that was my cast. Most people are familiar with the wonderful performance training that
RC has become known for, but few get the opportunity to fully grasp the kind of relationship training we receive
as well. In essence, Re-Creation taught me the meaning of love in action.
This idea goes so much farther than just being kind or trying to cheer someone up when you know they’ve had
a bad day. We got to see a lot of veterans who had really awful circumstances they were dealing with, and we
had to learn how to communicate a sense of respect and compassion in just the few moments we had with
them.
That wasn’t always easy! I remember a show in Seattle on 37’s first tour when Mr. Muller
gave us very specific instructions on how to walk into someone’s room and make them
notice right away that you were genuinely interested in them. Mostly little things like
making eye contact and getting down to someone’s level if they were in a bed or
wheelchair, but they could have such a big impact, especially for someone who didn’t get
that kind of interaction anymore.
My love for interacting with veterans in this way only grew over my time with ReCreation- so much so that I had to make sure I found ways to stay involved with
them after I left the group! I joke that the reason I chose Catawba College was
because it’s within walking distance from the Salisbury VA and SVH, but truth is
the VA has remained a significant part of my life. I’ve spent several hours
volunteering at the SVH, and even have a special friendship with a vet who’s 104!
I’ve also just been accepted for an internship in Recreational Therapy at Walter
Reed National Military Medical Center this fall to complete my degree. My journey
with RC started out as the fulfillment of childhood dreams, but now I get to look
forward to a future that carries on that legacy of all that this group has taught me."
FROM THE MISSION FIELD
“The Illinois Veterans Home at Anna would like to thank you for the wonderful
variety show by Re-Creation. I am sending our thanks to the sponsors but
wanted you to know how much our Veterans enjoyed the show. We cannot
wait until it comes around again bringing excitement and pleasure to both
members and staff. I believe our caregivers moved more quickly and lighter
on their feet after the show. We really appreciate your support in helping our
members have a better quality of life. God Bless you and your organization.
Thank you for remembering our Veterans.”

I was talking on the phone to a representative

I didn’t tell her I was afraid she’d cut off my TV
service just before a Kentucky basketball game.
Just kidding. (Maybe.)
My Dad and Mother taught me the Golden Rule.
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto
you.” I don’t always succeed in that. In fact, I fall
short more times than I care to acknowledge.
But it burdens me when I fail. And I stay
burdened until I ask God—and someone I’ve
wronged—to forgive me. And my spirit
is cleansed just a little.
The woman on the phone solved a bunch of my
immediate problems. Then she raised a new
one…
CHANGING OF THE GUARD
An alive worship setting exploring community and commission!
Re-Creation 42 celebrates God’s love and His direction as they

contemporary, both Biblical! Great songs that celebrate the praise
of Jesus’ disciples and how that very call sends us forth as modernday witnesses!
Hymns, Praise & Worship, Dramatic Pieces, Children’s Songs!
Original Songs from Mary & Jay Muller!
Hosanna, Praise Him, Be the Miracle, Count on Me, Go,
Cast Your Cares, Do Lord, He’s Got the Whole World In His Hands
and so many more!
The problem of a time and a society where we are
unkind and insincere and often just downright
mean when dealing with others. Where we don’t
actually “see” other people, but where we just
tolerate them until our own problems are solved,
then brush them off like dust from our clothing,
without stopping to think that they have feelings
and needs—often much greater than our own.
Wouldn’t it be good for us to re-examine what
this life really means and who we are…
There is a story of a New York man who came
across a beggar on the street. She was almost
starved and frozen. He gently helped the woman
into his car, took her to a restaurant, saw to it that
she had a delicious meal, and gave her his coat.
He was about to leave, when she said…
“Mister. Are you Jesus?”
Wow.
Anyone ever ask you that?
MEET RE-CREATION the 42nd Edition!
CAMDEN CHOPLICK was a lead performer in the Milton High School Music production of Mary Poppins, a
show I happened to choreograph. Camden’s high-flying (literally) performance was a showstopper and he is
ready to take his training and service to the next level.
“Seeing the group perform around my area really pushed me to tryout for Re-Creation and high school
theatre. Being in Re-Creation, I will hone my skills and talent for music, which will lead me to find my true
calling. I'm very excited to be a part of this organization and to be able to give my fullest admiration to the
veterans who serve our country.” DEVON DONAHUE is taking some time off from her studies at Shippensburg University to travel and sing alto
with RC 42. Devon calls Milton, PA, her home.
“I first saw Re-Creation perform when I was a freshman in high school, and after hearing what they did, as
well as everything that the group stood for, I knew that I wanted to be involved. I am truly blessed to be able
to spend the upcoming year touring with Re-Creation and bringing joy to audiences around this beautiful
nation.”
JORDAN MAROLF will be a familiar name, sure…but even more…a familiar face! Jordan traveled with RC
40 and after a year of studies at Bloomsburg University, returns to RC to travel the nation with his twin brother,
Nick, who is a current cast member. Having both Marolf brothers serve the veterans will truly be a blessing!
“I am very excited to be part of the group again! I am prepared to gain a lot more experience from RC and
I'm very happy to be sharing the stage once again with my brother. Nick and I have ‘confused’ Mr. Muller
once or twice by switching places. Maybe we can do that again! Seriously, I am looking forward to
performing for the veterans all across America! Thank you all for this wonderful opportunity!
HANNAH SWANSON is another ‘returnee.’ After her stint with RC 40, Hannah hit the professional audition
circuit. A semester at college, a commercial job and the toll of the audition circuit made Hannah realize what
she had been missing in RC. She is eager to return to her training…and to the vets.
“I cannot begin to describe just how excited and grateful I am to be returning to Re-Creation! I am so happy
to be coming back to really focus on my training and to really become the best performer I can be. Along
with that, I am really looking forward to being with the veterans again. That's what I missed the most on my
year off. The veterans are so special and I am just so ecstatic to be performing for them again!”
ALYSSA BENTON comes to Re-Creation by way of Buffalo, NY…this time. You see Alyssa and her family have
moved a great deal through the years…she’s already a nation-traveler! Alyssa is taking time from her studies
in Communications at Lock Haven University to sing alto with RC 42. "Re-Creation is looking to be a great home! I heard about this group from Nick Marolf, and when I started
looking into them and what they stood for, I knew it was my calling. My parents are both veterans, and I
think that in a way, this will be a great way to thank them for their service along with the many others
who've risked their lives for our great nation. I'm hoping this is to be a very humbling experience and
cannot wait to learn as much as I can, while traveling the country with some truly amazing people." ALEX LEITZEL is yet another Milton graduate (how can we ever thank you, Russ Wynn!!??) who brings with
him a desire to serve and a great technical savvy. Alex is putting off studies at an acclaimed arts college to
travel with RC 42 as a member of our tech team.
“I have witnessed Re-Creation's shows in the Milton area. I have seen the happiness the group has passed
onto the audience, therefore I wish to be a part of this group through helping to provide sound. My goal is
to promote Re-Creation's mission by functioning as part of the team to keep the mission alive for all.”
JONATHAN GAGNON worked with Mr. Muller in the Milton H.S. production of Mary Poppins and after a
year of study at Bloomsburg University, is ready to serve in Re-Creation. Jon will be a technician for RC 42.
“From the first time I saw Re-Creation perform, I have been interested in the organization. I set in my heart
that I wanted to join at some point. I am so thankful for this opportunity to be part of such a wonderful
organization, and I am incredibly excited to be doing tech for our shows, and to have the opportunity to
thank our nation's veterans!”
Will you consider using the enclosed, addressed envelope to forward a gift of support for your new
ambassadors. Having both groups traveling during the summer is frightfully expensive, but we MUST
continue. The veterans can’t come to us, we must go to them! Thank you for your sincere consideration!
SAY GOODBYE TO RC 41!
from
TIRUS TWYNE
“Wow 5 years sure do go by fast. It seems like only yesterday I
was walking into my first audition. I remember being so nervous
with no confidence that I would ever have a shot at this. But now
not only am I a part of the group but have great responsibilities
as the group’s Road Manager and have built many relationships
with not just the cast members but the faithful staff. My director
Mr.Muller, Mary Muller, Mary Reich and Jen Kratzer have been
not only great mentors but amazing friends. Because of their
guidance, I'm twice the man I was when I joined. Re-Creation is
an experience I will never forget for as long as I live. It's given
me a greater appreciation for freedom and country, but most
importantly, for the veterans.
Praise God for our nation’s heroes
whose acts of valor have paved
the way for our future. It is by
God's grace that I have had the
pleasure to meet such amazing
people and see this astounding
country.”
Tirus, you have grown from boy to
man, follower to leader, novice to
pro. We are thrilled, absolutely
thrilled, that God saw fit to have you surprise us at the Methodist
Church 5 years ago when you unexpectedly showed up to
audition. We were not prepared for you. And THAT, my friend,
could probably be the theme of your time in RC. We were not
prepared for the joy that you would bring, the trust you would
engender, the charm you would effuse, the call you would
stalwartly follow, the work ethic you would conscientiously
employ and the pride you would instill! We were not prepared
for the dynamic transformation God would effect as He molds
you into His under-shepherd. We were not prepared for the
raucous, loyal and charismatic joy you bring to an audience. We
were not prepared to have you so easily, seamlessly, become part
of our family.
from KATIE CONNER
“Two years ago, through a whirlwind of events, God brought me
to Re-Creation. Though I knew little about what was to come, I
took a step of faith. Over the last few years I've been able to
work with some incredibly gifted teachers and wonderful castmates. I've grown not just as a performer,
but a person. For me, Re-Creation is so
much more than just the chance to sing
and dance everyday; it's the opportunity
to change lives, touch hearts, and share
joy. I am excited to see what adventure
awaits me, but I'm saddened to leave an
organization that has truly become family.
My heart will forever be with the people
and mission of Re-Creation. It's been an
honor and privilege to serve our nation's
heroes. God Bless!”
Katie, parents are not supposed to have favorites. The same is true
for directing RC. I always make sure to equal out the praise,
pepper the critiques with encouragement and try not to fawn over
those one or two cast members in every given season who work
so hard to do everything ‘right.’ Right for training, right for the
organization, right for the mission.
That’s you! You are the superlative example of what a young
person can accomplish here, individually and in service. Your
work on stage and off has been exemplary! I wish every kid that
came through here would work as thoughtfully, openly and
thoroughly as you. Mary and I have fought it back many times,
but we are saying it now…you really are the perfect RC young
person! Not because you do absolutely everything correctly (like
forgetting costumes or wearing boots two-times too big because
you didn’t check them ha-ha!) but because you see the grand
scope of everything it takes to make all of this work! You’re
insightful, empathetic and compassionate. You’re ‘good people,’
as the old folks used to say!
And we are certainly not prepared…
Yes, we will miss your great voice, your professional approach
and your wonderful leadership…
to say goodbye!
But mostly we will miss YOU.
We love you!
We love you!

"I came into this group thinking that this was just a step toward
finding where I was meant to be after high school, but I soon
realized that God was showing me ReCreation was where I was meant to be.
This has been a huge part of my life and has
been responsible for a lot of my growing
up. The veterans will forever be such a
wonderful part of my life and I owe a huge
thank you to this group and everyone who
is part of it. A special thank you to my
director and his wife for helping me grow
so much as a person and a performer and
especially to my parents for their unending
support."
Madison, I will be forever grateful that God allowed your journey
to align with ours these past two years. You have challenged
yourself to the extreme to grow as a singer, dancer and servant.
And you have succeeded in spades! Your expression is beautiful,
your voice sublime and your no-nonsense approach to everyday
living is a blueprint for success! Maybe you should teach a class
in ‘no drama!’ Thank you for taking in each talk and critique with
an artist’s resolve and working to become the very best you can
be. Mary and I wish you the greatest of successes as you now
continue your journey…a line that may tangent away from us, but
one that will always be connected!
Enjoy the knowledge that your time here was met with respect
and openness. We are so proud of you and pleased for you!
We love you!

“This year with Re-Creation has been a
journey I never could have imagined with a
family I will never forget.
Visiting,
thanking, and listening to the wisdom of
our nation's veterans has brought me so
much joy since the moment 41 first hit the
road! But all of this year's amazing
experiences could not have happened
without the guidance and generosity of my
directors. Thank you to Mary Muller for
your unmatched instruction and kindness.
And thank you to Mr. Muller for planting
and nurturing the seeds to grow me into a
better performer and person.”
Caitlin, you are one of those wonderful success stories! You came
to the group quite late, about a month before we started 41, and
I’m not sure either of us knew what to expect! But you have
grown so much as an entertainer, vocalist and servant. Thank you
for your conscientious approach to every note and critique. We
are so appreciative of your efforts! Enjoy your successes and be
ready to carve out the life you want! The fact is, you can do
anything you set your mind to and we are thrilled to see how you
thrive in the next part of your journey!
We love you!

“It's hard to believe that I got started with RC four years ago,
and though I took a 1 year hiatus to continue in college I feel as
though I never left. The mission of the group is so important, and
near and dear to my heart because I have several family
members who are serving or have served in the armed forces. I
would like to thank Mr. Muller and the
rest of the RC family for this amazing
opportunity. I've learned so much and
came out of my shell a great deal
through my time with the group. I
would also like to thank the FOR-CES
members for your support; we
couldn't do it without you. And my
last thank you goes out to my family
and friends who have supported me
every step of the way. I'm excited to
see what God has in store for me
next.”
Greg, saying goodbye to you in 39 was hard enough, saying it
again now, well, it’s almost unbearable. You mentioned to me
once that you knew you should not have left 39…that you should
have stayed in 40. I agree that you weren’t quite finished with ReCreation. But I’m so glad God worked it out for you to be here
this year! You are, by far, the most kind-minded, forward-thinking,
initiative-taking and opportunity-making man I have ever met.
That you juggle all you do for Re-Creation and lead a life of
family, self-improvement and development is absolutely amazing.
People often comment on my ‘to-do” list…they have no idea! You
accomplish more than a team of people! Thank you a thousand
times over for all the wonderful work, and the gracious attitude
that came with it!
I’ve told you before, I wish I could hire you forever. But I know
you need to continue on your journey.
And you need to make money…
and eat (seriously, eat something dude, you’re too thin!!!!)
We love and respect you more than we can ever say!

"I can not believe a year has come and gone
already since I've joined Re-Creation. I've
had a wonderful time during my stay and
what an amazing opportunity it was. I
would like to thank all the F.O.R.C.E.S
members for their support, to Mr. Muller for
all he's done for us, for Mary for the vocal
help and to all the new friends and family
that I have met along the way!”
T.J., thank you for your conscientious effort
this year in Re-Creation. I’m so pleased that
you had the opportunity to explore, serve
and grow! I know that your tenacity will pay
off spectacularly as you head to the next adventure in your life!
We say it’s those behind the scenes who enable the mission. And
you ultimately recognized your gifts of service to bless the
veterans! We wish you great success and know you’re capable
and deserving of it! Love ya’ buddy!

CHARITY INTEGRITY
Hello, I’m Betsy Boyer, and I’m the President
of the Re-Creation Board of Directors.
You may have read the recent notices concerning major
veteran-related charities being accused of mis-use of funds.
We’re sure when one of these reports crosses your mind, a natural
reaction would be to ask yourself, “I wonder what Re-Creation does with the money I send?”
At almost every show, Jay takes the opportunity to do something most charities wouldn’t dare. He openly prompts the audience to ask any
question that would help validate the Re-Creation mission for any curious minds. Sometimes the questions are comical, sometimes very
serious. But they are always illuminating and validating.
I thought I’d address some of the more common questions as they pertain to your financial support.
“What is my donation used for, specifically?”
All donations to Re-Creation are used for transportation, gas, vehicles, vans, sound equipment, costumes, staging…everything we need to
present the high-quality programming we have for the past 40 years in the VA Hospitals and State Veterans Homes.
“What about F.O.R-C.E.S.? Do the kids get paid?”
All gifts sent to F.O.R-C.E.S. are kept in a different account and distributed to your young ambassadors at the onset of each tour. If there’s
enough in the account, they each receive about $17 a day to get the things they need to live on the road like food, makeup, shampoo and
other personal items. That equals out to about $5.65 a meal. It’s not much. But they make due, because they are diligent missionaries in
service to America’s heroes.
That money is a stipend, an expense reimbursement,…not payment.
“I’ve heard sometimes the cast members get to ‘see the sights’ or even get admission to a theme park or attend
a Broadway show. Does my donation pay for that?”
Jay has connections that allow for the kids to experience some of the amazing sights and sounds of our wonderful nation. Many times,
former cast members will provide free access to theme parks, as former RC member John Wilson did just this past February when the group
visited Busch Gardens on their one day off in February! Any other trips are provided by the financial concern of the Elks and the BVL.
These organizations have worked with Re-Creation for almost 30 years now and they recognize that the Re-Creation cast
members are all volunteers, who give up a year or more of their lives to this work. A show, meal or activity here or
there is given with genuine awareness that the kids need down-time to refuel and renew!
“Are you audited and/or registered with any charitable entity?”
Yes indeed! We are audited every year and we submit to the Pennsylvania Department of Charitable Organizations.
Audit reports are sent to any and all support groups, like the Elks or BVL.
“Is my donation tax deductible?”
Absolutely. Re-Creation USA, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) organization. As a matter of fact, I serve as the chair for another 501 (c)
(3) entity near State College. The Re-Creation Board of Directors has taken great strides to maintain and grow Re-Creation’s standing with
regard to all things related to non-profit work. We are diligent in keeping up with all new laws, regulations and requirements.
“I’ve read a lot in the news recently about how some charities spend as much as 45-60% on fundraising. For every $1 I give, the actual
mission gets only about .40 to .55 cents? What does RC spend on fundraising?
Re-Creation spends less than 1% on fundraising. Essentially, .99 cents of every $1 you give goes right into producing the show and keeping
it on-the-road to the over 250 requests we have per year. Even though folks have suggested doing so, Re-Creation has never used
telemarketers, or point of contact calling or solicitation to garner funding. Our impression is very important to us. We have survived on the
generosity of our supporters, people like you who believe in the mission and want to see it carried through to as many veterans as possible.
“I’ve also heard about the exorbitant salaries for some administrators of charities. What do you and the staff take?
My husband and I have been members of the Re-Creation Board of Directors since its inception 40 years ago. We have never received any
compensation from Re-Creation. The two ladies in the office are part-time. Jay is the only salaried, full-time, employee and his
compensation is 49K per year. Salary.com lists the median salary of a Senior Pastor in 2016 to be about 85K. Jay’s been the director
of Re-Creation for almost 24 years! And he is by no means a mere administrator. The board members and I have often remarked that if we
had to replace Jay, we would literally need a team of people. We’d have to hire a show writer, choreographer, costume designer, musical
director and folks to fulfill the work he does with the cast members with counseling, mentoring and training.
If you ever have any questions about the implementation of your donation, don’t hesitate to ask.
Betsy
“I’ve been working with non-profits my entire career, and I can assure you Re-Creation USA, Inc. keeps their books in
top-notch form. Transparency and accountability are two hallmarks of a great non-profit. As Re-Creation’s new
accountant, I assure you the board and administration are wholly committed to keeping your donations where they’re
most needed, in the daily, nation-wide mission to the veterans.”

YOUR SUPPORT
We have put forth our organizational transparency.
We’ve openly disclosed how your gifts are used and
what we do to remain accountable to God, to the
government and to YOU!
The truth is, individual donations to Re-Creation make
up only 2% of our budget. We need your help!
F.O.R-C.E.S. donations were down last year by 40%,
meaning we took in 40% less than what we pledged out
to your attendant-volunteers who must rely on this
stipend to live and serve.
We want to move forward.
We NEED to move forward.
The veterans continue to thrive at the shows!
The clapping, cheers, expressions of joy, the tears…
all testify to the impact of Re-Creation’s brand of therapy
in the VA Medical Centers and State Homes.
VIDEO DATES SET
The dates for the annual video recording of Re-Creation’s
programs are set! Please be sure to mark your calendars
and plan to be with us. Your attendance and enthusiasm
are vital in creating that special LIVE magic that washes
over to the men and women in the VA Hospitals as they
watch the show again and again. Your applause, cheers,
laughter and joy ring through the halls of America’s VA
Medical Centers and State Veterans Homes! What a
beautiful way to share in this mission of healing and
restoration!
We don’t do it often, but this time, we’ve enclosed a
self-addressed envelope for you to use.
Perhaps your civic group, Rotary, Legion, auxiliary,
club…whoever, would be willing to ‘chip-in’ and make
an extra effort to enable the mission.
Maybe your church would consider a ‘special ‘ offering
to missions. Re-Creation certainly is a mission in the
truest sense of the word.
There are unlimited possibilities to help.
Plan to attend! Admission is free!
Use the envelope, or use the new Pushpay app on your
smartphone to donate. And please, come see us!

And yes, I know the old adage about “coming back to
the well” too many times.
But you are the water of life to the vets. Your gifts
provide refreshment and rejuvenation, healing and
wholeness! Where else are we to turn?
The veterans appreciate your gifts so much! And we are
thrilled to go to them on your behalf to honor them, to
tell them America herself says “THANK YOU!”
