Welcome to Softalk (a Gordano brand)
Softalk is an experienced and established provider of powerful but lightweight Outlook enhancement solutions.
Outlook is the most popular client in the Windows user community but without the backend capabilities of a full
in-house email server solution, Outlook users can miss out on valuable and powerful sharing, collaboration and
groupware capabilities supported by the Outlook client.
Often it is the smaller customer groups who are under-served by their Outlook experience; lacking the need (or
the resources) for a full mail server environment these types of companies and organisations still have a need to
communication and collaborate swiftly and efficiently.
Softalk offers two products to provide cost effective and easy to use solutions for these customers WorkgroupShare and Softalk Mail Server, please see below for more information on the features and benefits of these

The Future of Softalk
Softalk is evolving and consolidating. We have decided to focus our efforts on our two brightest pupils – WorkgroupShare and Softalk
Mail Server. Both these products fit well into the larger Gordano product family, complementing the SMB and Enterprise-grade solutions
offered under our GMS brand. Some of our older Softalk products will be discontinued, but gracefully – we will soon provide an end-of-life
update for the Softalk Share Server (SSS) plug-in – users of this product will be able to enjoy Outlook 2013 support as part of a final
product enhancement.
Available now is a new release, with primary relevance for WGS & SMS users. The focus for the release has been to enhance core
functionality, and to improve stability, trouble shooting and system administration. We have also provided Outlook 2013 support for
WorkgroupShare – a popular request from our user community. Customers with a valid maintenance license can access this new version
at no extra cost; and attractive upgrade options are available for clients who are out of their maintenance period.
We have a new website; we believe it better demonstrates the investment we are putting into the Softalk products, offering a clean and
modern look.
