Steel siding is a rigid and stable product which makes
it very resistant to buckling and warping. Buckling and
warping is a result of expansion and contraction caused
by extreme weather changes. The rigidity of steel siding
allows it to lay flatter against the exterior wall which will
help conceal any imperfections in the wall giving it a
smooth, clean, straight finished appearance.
The EMCO Preserve™ and Weatheredwood™ Steel Siding
lines are coated with ceramic hybrid paint finish making
EMCO Building Products’ Steel Siding perform better than
other siding products on the market. Our coatings also
contain Cool Paint Technology™. This coating is designed
for superior energy performance by using reflective
pigments in the paint to help reduce energy
consumption by keeping the siding cooler
which prolongs the life of the product.
Our tough proprietary paint finish is enhanced with Teflon®
Surface Protector and prevents stains from penetrating
the surface keeping it cleaner. Extensive laboratory testing
has proven that the EMCO Preserve and
Weatheredwood siding enhanced with Teflon®

Maximize Drainage, Minimize Problems
Highly functional rain carrying systems must be durable,
attractive and be able to handle water flow capacity. That is
why EMCO designed a 3” square and a 3” x 4” downspout
and elbow, called the Superspout™, to effectively control water
as it is drawn away from your home and your foundation. The
Superspout is 50% stronger because of its rigid square design.
Unlike ordinary downspouts, the water is swirled, like a cyclone,
which allows debris in your gutters and downs to be more
easily removed. This greatly reduces clogging in the downspout
and increases water flow by 33%.
