The amazing thing is that Moses is a 60year-old man. In the Songhai culture, it is rare for an older man to accept Christ. Many times, older men or women will say that they’ve been “on the road too long to turn back,” meaning that even if they wanted to believe the gospel, it’s too late for them. Praise the Lord for opening Moses’ heart and mind to the gospel, and thank Him that Moses didn’t believe it was too late for him to be saved! Word has now spread in the village that Moses is a Christian, and many younger men, who are contemplating the gospel, are coming to Moses to learn more. These young men are realizing, like Moses did, that the road they are on does not lead to life and that there is only one way, truth, and life found in Jesus. Moses has never been married and has no children, but he is now a spiritual father to the young men in the village who are seeking Christ. MISSIONS Please pray for these 3 missionaries who are celebrating birthdays today: Mrs Mary A Minnich, Church/Home Outreach Evang'ism, FL, Retired Mrs Annette P Crockett, Church/Home Outreach Evang'ism, AR, Retired Mrs Matasha S Clary, American Peoples, Church/Home Outreach Evang'ism Please remember to pray for Last Frontier Personnel that we are unable to list.
