Move-in-day - Northeastern State University
Volume 9, Issue 1 July 2015 the guide to moving on campus Welcome to your new home away from home! On behalf of Northeastern State University and the staff of NSU Housing, let us be among the first to say "Welcome home and welcome to the Riverhawk Family!" We are fully committed to assisting you in getting settled into your new home here and to providing you with excellent service and support during the coming year. When you arrive on campus in August, you will notice several big changes taking place on campus. Our new residence hall and the new Wyly Hall, set to open August 2016, are currently under construction just north of the Leoser complex. Wyly Hall is currently receiving an exterior and interior remodel. The new, 344 bed building will be comprised of semi-private suite style accommodations with bathrooms in each room. We are excited for both facilities to come on line next fall. With construction projects, there have been several changes to parking and traffic flow for campus. Please be sure to review the map in this newsletter for directs regarding parking for Move In Day as well as throughout the semester. We hope you will take time to read and review the contents of this newsletter. It contains practical information that will help you understand life on campus in Tahlequah, as well as important information for Move In Day on August 9, 2015. You will be responsible for any remaining balance. How to Read Your Billing Statement Included in your university bill will be 3 types of charges for housing and meal plans. The first type of charge will indicate your meal plan (it may look like this:“Meal Plan 56”). If you change your meal plan after August 9th you will most likely see two meal plans on your statement.
