The first index to The Australian Book Review indexes issues 1 to 10, and was published in issue 12, July 1979. The publication of The Australian Book Review by the National Book Council has received universal approbation. W e are pleased to have the opportunity to increase its usefulness through the production of this index. It is intended to produce annual indexes to complement it.
