Full Scale Drawing (1 : 1) of the aircraft model is enclosed at
Annexure – I (Page no. 2 and 3). Model of scale 1:30 is required
to be manufactured and supplied with packing.
Fiber Reinforced Plastic ( FRP)
As indicated in the sample images at page no. 4 and 5.
Five types of stores as mentioned in the drawing are to be
integrated with the aircraft model. Aircraft stores should be
comparable with the model size.
Markings shall be on both side of model in color as per the
images provided at Annexure – I (Page no. 4 and 5).
Stand shall be with wooden base and chrome plated metal
support. ‘Best Complements from LCA-TEJAS Division’ with
HAL logo in color to be engraved on the base. Stand shall be as
per the image provided at page no. 5.
Model is meant for presenting to VVIP visitors. Elegant carton
box packing, white color foam with proper cutting as per model,
handle of the packing box and HAL logo in color on top of the box
duly painted has to be supplied. Sample images provided at
Annexure – I (Page no. 6 and 7) for guidance and compliance.
Packing as per the RFQ is the essence of the procurement
action. Vendor should ensure that they confirm specifically to the
RFQ packing requirement. Packing box not found to the standard
shall be rejected during inspection.
Supplier may visit HAL, LCA Tejas
to take the actual
requirements and seek clarification on the technical/packing
requirements before submission of quote. Quote may be rejected
if any of the requirements is not provided.
First-off sample inspection of model with packing shall be carried
out at HAL and approved by HAL inspectors. On approval of first
off sample, the remaining models to be supplied and will be
inspected at HAL site.
First off sample should be supplied within 03 weeks of placement
of P.O. First batch of 20 models should be supplied within 03
weeks of approval of first off sample. The remaining models shall
be supplied within 04 weeks of supply of above first batch.
Vendor should provide accurate reply to the technical
specifications in the column “Vendor Specification” of the table
of COMPLIANCE STATEMENT.
