GROWING ON
Media pH: Optimum not tested. Standard
for 1-gallon (4 litre) pot is 5.5 to 6.5.
Media EC: Optimum not tested. Standard
for 1-gallon (4 litre) pot is 1.5 to 3.
Moisture: Plants should be grown on the
dryer side due to fine root system and tendency
toward Fusarium.
Light: Full sun.
Fertilizer: While actively growing, plants
perform well with a constant liquid feed of
150 ppm nitrogen.
Supplemental Lighting: Not required except
if forcing for spring sales from unvernalized
liners; add 4-hour night interruption lighting from
10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. for earlier, more uniform
flowering. Not needed for vernalized production
or unvernalized spring planting for early summer
sales.

bulked in the final container prior to vernalization
for a very showy spring flush of flowers, or
unvernalized liners can be planted outdoors in
spring for finished flowering plants in June. Exact

upon local weather conditions. See table below
for weeks to flower from unvernalized liners
