It has 94 large campsites, with 3 miles of paved roads and a trailer dump station. There is a 1.5 mile interpretive hiking trail around Bass Lake and 2 beaches for swimming. Porcupine Lake Wilderness Area is 4,235 acres. Rainbow Wilderness Area North of Drummond. Clean and quiet the perfect place for a relaxing weekend. Lots of sites on lakes, fishing, swimming, boating. Two vehicles permitted per site (one includes camping unit) No cleaning permitted at water pump areas. Quiet time hours: 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (generators must be turned off) Pets must be on leash at all times, pets cannot be unattended at anytime within the campground and pets are not allowed in beach area. Bicycling on the trails in the campground is permitted. Check out time is 12:00 noon. Must re-register before 11:00 a.m. State & Federal criminal laws and/or regulations in the area apply. **Please do not transport wood, help stop spread of Emerald Ash Bore** The lakes have Northern pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Small mouth Bass, and other pan-fish. Available for your use: • Reservations must be made 4 days in advance of arrival date. 3 day reservations required on holiday weekends. 94 spacious, shaded campsites. 61 lake side sites, 23 on Bass Lake & 38 on Lake Owen. 6 drive-through sites. 7 walk-in tent sites, on Lake Owen. Handicap accessible sites. Some sites will accommodate RV's in excess of 50 feet. Can fill water tank at solar pumps. Picnic tables and fire rings with grills at each site. Paved road to and in campground. 2 hand-operated water pumps. 4 solar pumps. Pay phone near campground entrance. 24 vault toilets, 12 women &12 men. Two marked swimming areas.
