The High Torque Indicating Ratchet Wrench (H-TIRW) is a unique high torque ratchet wrench
designed for surgical use. The High Torque Indicating Ratchet Wrench is sleek and easy to use,
providing clinicians with an option they may not have had before: an inexpensive instrument that
provides accurate high torque assessment during manual dental implant placement.
The High Torque Indicating Ratchet Wrench (H-TIRW) indicates forward and reverse torque of
50-90Ncm without the need for additional components.

place implants and as a torque indicator to provide a visual assessment of torque.
Easy To Separate And Assemble
Consisting of only two parts, the High Torque Indicating Ratchet Wrench (H-TIRW) is easy to prepare
for sterilization and reassemble for use.
Lubrication And Recalibration-Free
The High Torque Indicating Ratchet Wrench (H-TIRW) does not require lubrication or recalibration.
Calibration is confirmed by verifying that the torque indicating arrow is positioned at the first scale
mark (0Ncm).

Manual Driver
1.
To place an internal connection implant, insert the Certain®
Implant Ratchet Extension Driver (IRE100U or IRE200U) into the
Square Adapter (C11108). Ensure complete engagement in the
adapter. Insert the Square Adapter into the High Torque Indicating
Ratchet Wrench (H-TIRW). A click indicates a secure connection
with the High Torque Indicating Ratchet Wrench.

When placing an external hex connection implant, insert the
External Hex Connection Ratchet Extension (RE100 or RE200) into
the Square Adapter (C11108). Ensure complete engagement in the
adapter. Insert the Square Adapter into the High Torque Indicating
Ratchet Wrench (H-TIRW). A click indicates a secure connection
with the High Torque Indicating Ratchet Wrench.
3. Hold the main body and torque arm together with the thumb
and index finger.
4. During torque application, apply finger pressure along the vertical
axis of the ratchet driver tip and implant to ensure the driver tip
does not back out of the implant’s connection.

The direction of torque application (“IN” marking refers to implant
insertion and “OUT” refers to implant removal) is indicated by the
direction of the arrow on the head of the High Torque Indicating
Ratchet Wrench (H-TIRW) on the same side as the domed portion
of the Square Adapter (C11108) when assembled.

5. To assess the amount of torque being delivered to the implant, turn
the torque arm in the direction of the arrow on the head of the
High Torque Indicating Ratchet Wrench (H-TIRW) on the same side
as the domed portion of the Square Adapter (C11108). Read and
record torque as indicated.
