Cheesy Egg and Bacon Tartlet’s
Prep: 10-15 minutes
Cook: 15-20 minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients
n2 sheets of FoodWorks Best Buy short crust pastry
n
4 FoodWorks Best Buy eggs
n
150g FoodWorks Best Buy grated cheddar cheese
n
4 slices of FoodWorks Best Buy bacon, finely diced
n
150 ml cream
n
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
n
Salt and pepper
Method
Cut the pastry into 10 cm circles, place into a tart tin, line
with baking beans (or muffin cases filled with rice) and blind
bake for 10 minutes at 180°C, remove from the oven and allow
to cool.
Mix together the eggs, bacon, cream, cheese, parsley and salt
and pepper then pour into the blind baked pastry cases. Bake
in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for 10-15 minutes.
