Note, some delegates may choose not to participate in the skiing or snowboarding activities. As
an alternative they can experience Mt Buller’s other attractions including; Snowshoeing, Dog
sled rides, Breathtaker Day Spa, National Alpine Museum, Cinema
and retail therapy.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Resort Entry: Delegates will receive a 50% discount off the normal Mt
Buller entry and car parking fee, courtesy of the Mt Buller and Mt Stirling
Alpine Resort Management Board.
Lift Tickets & Lessons: Delegates will receive a 20% discount off the price
of lift tickets and lessons, courtesy of Mt Buller Ski Lifts.
Transport: Car-pooling is the recommended method to travel to Mt
Buller. Alternatively, commercial Bus services depart regularly from Melbourne and hourly from the base of the mountain (Mirimbah) for those
people who do not want to drive in the alpine environment. For more

Equipment Hire and Tuning: Delegates will receive an upgrade to the
Executive Package on their ski and snowboard rental from Georges Ski
Hire, located in the center of the Mt Buller village. They will also receive
discounted race tuning and waxing.
Accommodation Options: An enormous variety of standard and types of
accommodation is available, from backpacker to private lodges or
apartments through to five star hotels. Delegates should make their own
arrangements. Assistance from a wide spectrum of online

VPELA CUP:
The Forum will mark the inaugural staging of the VPELA Members Giant
Slalom ski and snowboard race on Little Buller Spur. Medals will be
awarded in various categories, including the fastest male, female, telemarker, snowboarder, organisation team (minimum 2 people) and
competitor over 55 years of age. To register to race please complete
