Longtime reader Paul Ragland, Jr. pointed out that it is not Allen, but rather his teammate Neil Burke. Congressional Candidate Eddie Joyce, Jr. Dies The former Andrew Lewis High School quarterback passed away Jan. 15 in North Carolina from complications caused by pneumonia. Pictured as a freshman basketball player in 1970 (above) and at a 1997 football reunion (left), Joyce died three months after his father, Eddie, Sr., the famous Lewis football coach.
