All swatches are full-strength formulas on level 10 hair.
Colaura Demi-Permanent color, and Colaura SemiPermanent color results will vary based on the level and
condition of hair to which it is applied.
An essential element to any color service is to conduct
a thorough consultation with the client. The following
factors are important to consider during the consultation:
Colaura Demi-Permanent Color is mixed in a 1:1 Ratio
of Aura Energizer 5 or 8 Volume. Always mix in equal
parts and use immediately. Standard timing is 5-20
Minutes at room temperature. For longer lasting results
and excellent penetration on resistant hair process 15
minutes with plastic cap under a pre-heated warm
dryer. Remove cap and cool for 5 minutes.
Colaura Semi-Permanent Color is a direct dye which
means there is no mixing involved. Standard timing is 25
minutes (dryer optional). For more intense results
process 25 minutes under a pre-heated dryer, without a
plastic cap and allow 10 minutes cool down.

Understanding the label
The level of deposit of Colaura
Demi-Permanent color is
described with the numbers 1, 2,
3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. The letters N, B,
V, NC, NW, NR, R, RO, NO, O, GO,
and G identify the 12 tonal families. Colaura Semi-Permanent
Color is described with first the
name followed by the background color then finally the level
and tone.

Colaura Aura Intensifiers is a concentrated pigment
designed to be mixed into any formulation to add an
intense color reflect. Available in four vibrant shades of
Gold, Orange, Red, and Violet they allow for numerous
combinations. Add desired Aura Intensifier shade as
25% of your formulation for best results. Processing time
and developer choice will remain consistent to the
chart above.
Colaura Sparkle
Clear Gloss
Colaura Sparkle Clear Gloss is a high gloss clear demi
permanent that provides lasting shine and softness
to all hair types. It is ideal for clients who have lost their
natural sheen due to chemical services such as
Relaxers, Permanent Wave, or over processed hair.
It may also be used to dilute any of the DemiPermanent shades to create customized formulations
for your clients.
Mixing is 1:1 ratio with the 5 volume Aura Energizer, and
the processing time is 20 minutes at room temperature
with a plastic cap.

Haircolor products can cause an allergic reaction,
which in certain rare cases can be serious. To help
reduce the risk of an allergic reaction for you
and your client, it is necessary to observe the following
precautions:

DO NOT USE if your client has reacted to a
haircolor product or your client has a sensitive or
damaged scalp.

Wear suitable gloves during preparation,
application and rinsing of the product.
■
Before applying color, perform an allergy test on
your client 48 hours in advance, even if your
client has previously used a haircolor product.
Allergies can develop or worsen suddenly, even
though your client has been coloring his or her
hair for some time. Therefore, you must always
test 48 hours before each and every color
application.
■
Avoid contact with eyes and skin (other than
areas of application). If contact occurs,
immediately flush with water and seek medical
attention if irritations occurs

removed before rinsing eyes with water

Prepare and use in well-ventilated area. If affected
by inhalation, move to fresh air. If symptoms
persist, seek medical attention
If swallowed, call a physician, hospital emergency
room or poison control center immediately.
Induce vomiting only if recommended by

COLOR

including breathing problems, tightening
of the chest, heart palpitations, lightheadedness, flushing, itching or bumps or
swelling away from the place the product
has come into contact with the skin occur
during or shortly after application of the
allergy test or product, rinse immediately
with lukewarm water, discontinue use and
obtain medical attention immediately.
Alert the client not to use this or any other
haircolor product again until after consulting a physician.
