June 2016 It‘s almost time for us to begin celebrations for the 21st annual Viking Festival and just as always, we will have many different exciting things to offer you! An amazing group of Vikings traveling from all over the world will come and celebrate with us –some of whom have been with us every single year from the very beginning. These Great Vikings are storytellers, street artists, and musicians. Some of these artisans work in rock, some in wood, some are blacksmiths and others are warriors ready to show their stength or markmenship with bows and the like. Hundreds of Vikings from around the country, including the group Rimmugýgur have already confirmed their plans to take part in the festivities –hundreds of vikings of all different talents will be here with us taking part. You can get a better idea of who, from the list above! Finally, I want to give my heartfelt thanks to all of you who have supported this dream of mine throughout the years. You will find the logos of our wonderful supporters displayed in the program of events. Not a one of these great supporters has faultered; they continue to stand with us year after year, and we are forever grateful. It is my great hope that this years festivities will exceed the expections of our vikings and guests alike and we do hope that each and every one of you has a wonderful experience with us again this year!
