The Metcal SP200 Soldering System
has been a trusted performer since its
introduction nearly 10 years ago, but
through technological advances, a
more flexible system is now available.
The OKi MFR-1100 Series Single Output Soldering and Rework
System feature a choice of tools to support today’s PCB and
®
component technologies. The Smartheat technology found in
the SP200 that precisely delivers the required energy for each
connection, is part of the entire brand of OKi soldering tools.
The OKi branded products, which have been introduced 4 years ago, offer low cost of ownership, high
performance and the broadest range of systems and consumables available on the market. As a result,
customers benefit from less training costs, more application possibilities and enhanced productivity.
The MFR-1100 Series consists of 4 systems increasing user flexibility and covering
most applications:

MFR-1110: It accepts a comprehensive range of soldering and rework
cartridges similar to those found in the popular Metcal range.
MFR-1120: It offers a tip Hand-piece designed for production soldering.
MFR-1140: The Precision Tweezers Hand-piece included in this system
is ideal for SMD removal of 0201 resistors to 28 mm long SOIC’s.
MFR-1160: This recently released system has a new Hand-piece
which accepts the Metcal SSC cartridges used on the SP200.
