Your child must experience the joys of reading before being exposed to technology. • Eltee Pen must be ‘activated’ for every book, as shown below. Activation and types of sounds 1.. Turn Eltee Pen on. 2. Open any title page and activate Eltee Pen for that book by scanning the sound icon. You will hear the welcome message. 3. There are five types of sounds: • Facts. These are additional facts related to the topic, but not printed on the page. • Sound effects. Sounds of animals, nature, musical instruments, etc. • Dramatization. When a character or an object on the page talks to your child • Songs and rhymes. Popular songs, such as 'Twinkle Twinkle' and more • Pronunciation. Correct pronunciation of the ‘Key Words’ at the bottom of every page. Record and playback Your child can record her voice using the Eltee Pen. This feature is particularly helpful to compare your child’s pronunciation of the key words with that of the perfect pronunciation.
