MCKINNEY ROUGHS CHALLENGE COURSE
Games and Initiatives
The first step down the path to group cooperation is Games and Initiatives. These low-impact,
high-energy activities are designed to establish and enhance basic relationships that are crucial
to a positive and productive team. Team members will participate in fun and creative activities
that apply resource management skills and build group cohesion.
Low Course
Team Debriefings
After every activity, team members participate in a group
discussion about their experience to build relationships
and gain individuals’ commitment to the team’s goals.
The Low Course brings your group together in a problem-solving environment. Building from the simple to
the complex, each element of the Low Course provides a
platform for decision-making and teamwork. Elements
such as the Swinging Log and Mountain Tops are fun
activities that require communication, cooperation and
compromise. This hands-on approach to group development strengthens your team’s confidence and trust.
Optional Programs, Activities and Services
High Course
The High Course offers a world of high adventure and unique perspectives. The High Course
captivates team members and challenges them
to rely on group support to reach beyond their
individual comfort zone. Progressing to the
High Course makes personal and team goals a
reality with elements such as the Catwalk, Power Pole, Rock Climbing Wall and Giant Swing.
This safe and proven teambuilding course effectively builds on skills emphasized during Games
and Initiatives and the Low Course, and can be
highly effective at tying together the strands of
your dynamic leadership experience.
