The Inaugural 2013
FBA – Hands Across the Water
Charity Bike Ride
On September 23rd, twelve FBA Members set out to ride 800kms in 8 days, from Bangkok to
Khao Lak, and raising $163,150 for children at risk in Thailand.
It was a challenging, amazing experience for all those involved and gave families the
opportunity to share something truly special.

A warm welcome
from the Thai people
wherever we went
The riding was tough some days
…but always through an exquisite landscape
A few little
injuries for
the girls
along the
way…
…but kept so safe on the
streets and highways of
Thailand by our ever vigilant
tour leaders, Chris & Gae
Incredible scenery & sights
At times very exhausting
But also a lot of fun
And then we arrived at
our final destination,
Baan Than Namchai
orphanage, Khao Lak
Never forgetting why we were riding...
Time to celebrate with the
beautiful children
Riding again in 2014
This is a life changing opportunity to affect change in an amazing
