The strength of these leaders rests
in their belief that our community
is worthy of significant personal
investment.
As Chairman of the Greater Flagstaff Summit
Society Campaign, I am privileged to recognize the
contributions of those who made the 2008 campaign
a success. It was a challenging year for many,
especially for those in our community who have the
least. It is therefore particularly meaningful to thank
those who donated in difficult economic times. More
than 585 individuals from the Flagstaff Chapter
donated at the Summit Society level.

We are proud to serve as the Summit Society
co-chairs for United Way of Northern Arizona’s
Northeast Chapter again this year. In 2008, 213
generous donors contributed at the Summit Society
level in Navajo and Apache counties. Summit
Society members significantly and tangibly help
improve the quality of life for many people in
our community. We encourage Summit Society
members to continue their valuable work, and
we look forward to reaching out to new leaders in
