My Ohio State Student Ticket Account Transferring Men’s Basketball Tickets Transferring Men’s Basketball Tickets between active Buck IDs My Ohio State Student Ticket Account HOW DO I TRANSFER MY STUDENT BASKETBALL TICKETS TO A DIFFERENT STUDENT? Student Account M Manager L Log-in i Screen Please Note: Make sure you have selected “Manage your Ohio State STUDENT TICKET ACCOUNT ” option p from www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/tickets before logging in. Accessing the other “Manage My Account” link will not give you access to student tickets. You MUST log into this site using your OSU email address (or the email address contained in your Student Ticket Account). @ y *hint: If yyour @buckeyemail.osu.edu address does not work, please try your @osu.edu email address Enter your OSU Email Address and ticket account password. This password is DIFFERENT than your OSU password and is unique to your ticket office account. Click “Forgot Your Password” to have a temporary password sent to you via email. Student Ticket Account Home Page From this page, you can see all of the upcoming athletics events you have purchased tickets for. Click “manage my tickets” on the top or “manage g this event” next to the event you wish to transfer to another student. Manage My Tickets Page g On the “Manage My Tickets” page, you will see all games listed for the upcoming month but you can select other months at the bottom of the screen. You can select which game(s) you wish to transfer to another student. You can also see the status of tickets you may have already transferred to other students. To transfer a ticket to another student, click on the name of the event you wish to transfer. (Continued on next page) Manage My Tickets Page g (continued) ( ) Once you have selected the game you wish to transfer, you will need to complete a few steps: 1. Select “transfer tickets to a friend” from the drop down box 2. Select the seat(s) you wish to transfer. 1 1. Once you have O h selected l t d seats to transfer, the ‘transfer’ box will increase from 0. If yyou wish to only y transfer that game, click the ‘transfer’ button. If you wish to transfer more than one game in one transaction, click ‘manage more tickets’ Note: You can return to this screen once you’ve transferred your tickets or accepted a transferred ticket to see the status of all of your seats. Manage My Tickets Page g (continued) ( ) As you add seats you wish to transfer, the indicators near the games as well as the main transfer button keep track of how many seats you are transferring. Once you’ve confirmed that these are the seats/games you wish to transfer, click ‘continue to transfer’. Transfer Your Tickets Page On this page, you determine which student you’d like to transfer your student ticket to to. First verify that the events you would like to transfer are correct near the top of the page. Choose Transfer Recipient: 1. Enter the student’s first name, last name, and email address in the boxes provided. 2 2. Make sure you click “add” add once you’ve you ve added their information, and then select the button next to their name to proceed 3. Please Note: the recipient’s email address MUST match the email address contained in their student ticket account with the Athletic Ticket Office. If the recipient is unsure of the email address in their ticket account account, please have them contact our office at 1800-GOBUCKS before attempting to transfer tickets to them. Optional Message You can enter a message for your recipient that will be included in the transfer email E M il Reminder: E-Mail R i d This gives you the option to send yourself an email reminder if the other student has not accepted the transferred tickets at a designated time before the game. Item Price: You can choose whether or not you display the price of the ticket to the ticket recipient. Once you have verified that the information entered is correct, click “next step” to proceed with the transfer process. *Hint: The ‘next step’ button will change from gray to black when you can proceed proceed. Transfer Your Tickets Page (continued) Once you have clicked ‘next step’, you will have one last chance to review what tickets you are transferring before completing the transfer. You will see the events listed and the transfer recipient’s information. Verify one last time that the ticket recipient’s email is correct, and click “I agree g to the terms of use”. Once you have agreed to the terms, you will be able to click “complete complete transfer transfer” Forwarded Tickets Confirmation Once you have sent the invitation to the receiving student, t d t you will ill receive i this confirmation (as well as a confirmation email). To see the status of all of yyour tickets,, click “home” Manage My Tickets Page Once you have an offer pending to another student, you can see that listed on the “manage my tickets” page by clicking on the game in question. You can also cancel your offer to transfer a ticket by clicking ‘pending actions’ when the appropriate pp p g game is selected. If another student has accepted the tickets to their Buck ID once you transfer them, you will also see that on the ‘manage my tickets’ page. TICKETS IN THIS STATUS ARE NO LONGER ACTIVE ON YOUR BUCK ID. ID My Ohio State Student Ticket Account HOW DO I RECEIVE TICKETS THAT HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO ME BY ANOTHER STUDENT? Invitation Email O Once a student t d t has h invited i it d you tto receive a transferred ticket, you will receive an email with the invitation included. Please Note: you must use the email address on file your Athletic Ticket Office account to be able to accept transferred tickets. To accept transferred tickets, click the “ACCEPT TICKETS” button. This will take you to the Ohio State Student Ticket website to proceed. YOU MUST ACCEPT THE TICKETS AND RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL THAT THEY HAVE BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR BUCK ID. IF YOU DO NOT, THE TICKETS WILL NOT BE LOADED ONTO YOUR BUCK ID If you have already accepted the tickets and wish to manage g them at a later date, you can simply log into your Ohio State Student Ticket Account by clicking this link. Transferred tickets log in page On this page, you will see the game(s) that another student has transferred to you. To accept transferred student tickets, you MUST log in using the email address on file in your Athletic Ticket Office account and your unique ticket account password. If you have forgotten g yyour ticket account password, click “Forgot Your Password” link and a temporary password will be emailed to you. *hint: hint: If your @buckeyemail.osu.edu @buckeyemail osu edu email address doesn’t work, try using your @osu.edu email address instead. DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT; IT WILL NOT ALLOW YOU ACCESS TO STUDENT TICKETS. Accept p Transfer Page g This page allows you to accept the tickets that have been transferred to you. 1. Choose “Digital” from the drop down box that says “select select your delivery method”. This will allow the ticket to be transferred to your Buck ID. 2. If you are accepting multiple games, make sure the button next to “transfer tickets to multiple cards” is selected. You will still be able to load all games onto your Buck ID. 3. Select the appropriate Entry Method from the next step step. You must select “OSU Student ID” from the drop down box, as your Buck ID number is prepopulated into your Ticket Office student account. 4. Click “next step”. Accept Tickets Page – Step 2 Review the game you are accepting and verify that the last 4 numbers of y your Buck ID number are correct. If the digits DO NOT match the last 4 digits of your Buck ID, please contact the Athletic Ticket Office at 1-800-GO-BUCKS before accepting the offer. If everything thi is i correct, t make k sure you agree to the terms of use by clicking the check box. You cannot click the ‘complete transfer’ button until y you have agreed to the terms. Clicking “complete transfer” will transfer the tickets to your Buck ID. Confirmation Page Once you have accepted the student ticket to your B k ID Buck ID, you will ill receive i this confirmation screen (along with a confirmation email).
