ACRYLIC PAINTING with an ATTITUDE Acrylic Painting with an ATTITUDE In her second video, Elin Pendleton continues to show viewers how her upbeat attitude combined with her time-saving techniques make painting with acrylics an enjoyable experience. Having taught for eighteen years and being a professional artist for even longer, Elin will take you on a journey to new painting pleasure with acrylics. Using the idea that painting should be fun—not painful—Elin shows you how to do a completed painting quickly and easily. From the beginning where she sets up the still life, her explanations are clear and peppered with her philosophy that "if it isn't simple, it can't be fun". Included is a special section on using acrylics in non-traditional ways and a demonstration of her equine painting. Her credentials as an artist are impressive. Elin holds memberships in the Women Artists of the West, Oil Painters of America, the National Acrylic Painters Association, and the American Academy of Equine Art. Elin's paintings are in galleries on both coasts of the United States, and have been featured in North Light publications and major art magazines. Her web site at elinart.com is filled with her work, including her most recent paintings, with information about her upcoming demonstrations and workshops. This video is a must for both beginning and experienced acrylic painters. One hour. Copyright January 2002 by Elin Pendleton and Faultline Productions, Wildomar, CA Elin Pendleton
