I always go back to the book, anyway. My letter...our next convention is Ad Astra 2015 north of Toronto. We hope to have some spring by that time. In a few days is the attempt to get tables at two major conventions in our area, so wish us luck. I always enjoy the photos of costumes and cosplayers in this zine. It's great to see such creativity, and it's visible right in front of you. (I admit I am biased...Yvonne and I used compete in Worldcon masquerades as far back as the early 80s.) All for now...I was going to say stay warm, but your part of Florida has been the only warm part of the entire continent this winter. See you with the next issue. He was great in other roles. In the remake of The Outer Limits episode "I, Robot" (based on a short story by Otto Binder), he played the lead role of a lawyer defending a robot accused of Trek was probably my first fandom. As I have said murdering its creator. Nimoy was in the original episode in before, when I heard Star Trek won a Hugo Award, I looked up other things that won Hugos. Star Trek was my gateway to wider another role. He was brillantly snarky in that role. It must have been cool since he was directed by his son, Adam. He was fun to world of Science Fiction and Fantasy. The show would not be around if it was not for the character of Spock. Leonard Nimoy watch as William Bell in Fringe. When he was acting with John Noble, it was magic. I listened to a recording of Nimoy reading made an alien role a believable character. Spock told us we Robert A. Heinlein's "Gentlemen, Please Be Seated". He were in space and the future. He taught us that the other does conveyed the sense of wonder that story contained. not need to be feared. I got to see him speak twice. The first time I asked him a question. It was at Vulkon in Orlando. I asked why did he not hire James Horner for Star Trek IV. He just said Horner was unavilable and said sometimes they change the score composer. I was a bit disappointed since I always thought the score for Star Trek IV was lacking and hoping for a better explaination. In 2009, Nimoy was at FX. I wanted to ask him if he a favorite episode of Mission: Impossible, but I lost my nerve. I thought it was a frivolous question despite the first This is a downer. We have lost a great man. I was hoping to see him with the rest of the surviving original cast celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek next year. Thank you sir for the all the joy you brought me and the incredible world you introduced to me.
